SXAIRPORTDESIGN - WILLIAM P. HOBBY AIRPORT FSX P3D4-5

SXAIRPORTDESIGN - WILLIAM P. HOBBY AIRPORT FSX P3D4-5

This is my first SX Airport Design product, and I intend to buy more from them. As a South Texan moored to Houston Hobby by SWA I've long used modified AFCADs and now there is a decent scenery for this historic airport. On the plus side is the clean and somewhat detailed scenery and scenery objects on par with any mid-tier addon scenery. On the negative side is the lack of documentation, this is the first time I've paid for an airport that didn't come with at least a brief guide... it took me several minutes to figure out that the stationary jetways were in fact SODE objects. On the balance I am not disappointed.

SIMELITE SOLUTIONS - TIME ZONE FIXER FSX P3D

SIMELITE SOLUTIONS - TIME ZONE FIXER FSX P3D

This is exactly what I was looking for to fix the problems P3Dv4 had with time zone offsets in Alaska and Hawaii. When I complain to LM they said sorry, but they used the standard 15 deg per hour offset for places that were not heavily populated (like no one every goes to Hawaii, right?). This fixes that and of course globally, and nothing else so no stuff running in the background messing with the simulator clock function. This is just bgl files that fix the problem, and they issue updates as required. Simple and effective.

FSXCENERY - KRCP CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT FSX P3D

FSXCENERY - KRCP CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT FSX P3D

This is my home base so I could be too critical; however, problems such as runways not placed accurately and NAVAIDs errors all could be avoided by using the free data from FAA that provides exact placement for such things. I admire the effort taken with the Terminal buiilding, but otherwise my own afcad developed with ADE is much more accurate. Also, AAL doesn't park on the Signature FBO ramp and I've only seen a C-17 transport aircraft here once in two decades. The parking for Atlantic aviation FBO looks more like military parking than a FBO. I was hoping I could simply slide my AFCAD under his scenery but that just isn't going to work out.

TAXI2GATE - PUERTO VALLARTA MMPR FSX

TAXI2GATE - PUERTO VALLARTA MMPR FSX

Looks nice but is incomplete. The gate numbering and missing terminal buildings do not come close to today's actual field configuration, and there are no taxi signs. Parking (ground textures) do not line up with AFCAD parking. Definitely time to upgrade this location.

Anti-Piracy Warning

Protecting Your Purchase

The flight simulation add-ons you are purchasing are legally protected and copyrighted on an international level. This ensures that the creators' rights are upheld and their innovative work is safeguarded.

Why Piracy Hurts Everyone

Piracy undermines the dedication and creativity of developers. When you download or distribute pirated add-ons, it impacts the creators' ability to continue producing high-quality content. This affects the entire community by reducing the availability of new features and updates.

Consequences of Piracy

  • Legal Risks: Engaging in piracy can lead to severe legal consequences, including fines and prosecution.
  • Security Threats: Pirated software often carries malware, risking your personal data and system security.
  • Lack of Support: Unauthorized copies do not receive official support or updates, leading to potential issues and vulnerabilities.

How You Can Help

  1. Purchase Legitimately: Always buy add-ons from authorized sellers like SimMarket to ensure you receive authentic products.
  2. Report Piracy: If you encounter pirated add-ons, report them to the authorities or the original creators.
  3. Educate Others: Spread awareness about the negative impacts of piracy and encourage others to support developers by purchasing legitimate copies.

Thank you for supporting the flight simulation community and contributing to a fair and innovative marketplace.
