need to amend my review - fspassengers is still just fine. just wanted to say that so is fscaptain - turns out the weather/winds work just fine in the mcdu - i just didn't set it up correctly at first. also the custom load maps work as they should if you edit them correctly which i didn't at first. i really like both fspassengers and fscaptain and they both work as advertised. my mistake.
without a doubt the best add-on i have ever purchased for fs2004/fsx - be it aircraft, scenery, utilites, flight planners, whatever. only drawback is occasional white screen flash as weather (re)sets.
Good deal, lots of missions. Approach charts are "lite" versions though.
Not bad - and fsx and fs9 versions too. Only complaint in fs9 one voice is always slo-mo.
I got tired of all the bugs in fscaptain notably not recognizing fs9 weather or metar files even with the congratulations! message and improper fuel/cargo/pax loading even with custom load maps. This program worked flawlessly from the beginning. It does not retrieve weather (metar/taf/winds aloft) but it never claimed to either. The payload dialogue is excellent. It is also very strict about flying by the rules - if you want it to be.
