SIAMFLIGHT - VTBS SUVARNABHUMI AIRPORT THAILAND MSFS

SIAMFLIGHT - VTBS SUVARNABHUMI AIRPORT THAILAND MSFS

Bought this airport yesterday and took it for a quick spin to check it out. As o right now, this is certainly the VTBS to buy in MSFS. I can't predict what the future hold, but this rendition is absolutely better over previous payware offerings. The detail on the buildings is very good. The shapes of the main terminal look good, and there is very nice detail in the iron supports that arch over the glass roof. And inside, although marketed as 'simple', there is a familiar-looking constellation of different floors. I was there only twice in real life, but I would easily cognize the different levels of floors at the terminals due to how unique they were. The exterior detail continues in the check-in hall, with a nicely detailed roof that appears to model all the various supports overhead. Overall very well done. The various gates also have some clutter scattered around, although it uses LODs that make them pop in only when you are relatively close and this can be a bit distracting. I understand this is for performance reasons, though. In this rendition of VTBS the midfield concourse is also open and operational. The building looks great, although there is some flickering from a distance. The ground marks seem accurate, judging by Google maps, and checking the AFCAD all parking spots are present. In general the AFCAD seems to carry the correct designations for taxiways etc, but unfortunately there are not gate assignments. I understand from other developer's comments that gate assignments are not yet something that can be 'officially' entered, but it can be 'hacked' into the AFCAD xml before compiling. Wish that Siamflight had done that, though. In terms of performance I didn't have any real complaints. Obviously VTBS is a massive and complex airport. I did have some performance issues standing on the east side of the airport and looking towards the city, where I have POIs by AviaJam, and this caused some stuttering. Stuttering ere gone though after takeoff and flying towards the city, when I looked at either the city of the airport. So perhaps the cumulative effect of both addons were a little much for my system, which is 4 years old by now. Overall I've been quite happy with this airport. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is the relatively simple ground textures. In real life VTBS has quite a lot of different surfaces that make it look a little bit 'used' in some areas, but in this addon the taxiway surfaces look somewhat new. A little roe detail in this department would have been nice. And less pop-in of gate clutter would also be appreciated. Other than that, this is the VTBS to buy!

SIERRASIM SIMULATION - MHLM LA MESA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT P3D4-5

SIERRASIM SIMULATION - MHLM LA MESA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT P3D4-5

Really a very nice airport that has been absent from our P3D world for much too long. I initially bought this airport when Sierrasim was still SimDesignsCo. Asked if I could get an update for free, so I could get the dedicated P3Dv4 and P3Dv5 versions that released the other day, and was gifted them. For me, support has been very fast and very pleasant. Deifniftely a devleoper worth buying from. As for the airport, although I cannot 100% vouch for its accuracy, given that I'm not a local, nor have I visited this airport, the quality is very good. Especially for 16 Euros. As I said, MHLM has been sorely lacking from our virtual skies. Sierrasim did a very nice job with it. The textures for the groundpoly are especially nice, and seem fitting for this airport. The modeling of the terminals is sufficiently detailed, and performance is no problem at all for me. I can recommend it!

SIERRASIM SIMULATION - SKMZ LA NUBIA AIRPORT – MANIZALES V1.2 P3D4 P3D5

Another cool little Colombian airport by Sierrasim. very enjoyable and nicely don! Good terminal model with interior, and ground poly is very nicely textures as well. I love the sloped runway! Unfortunately not compatible with AI (I'm in P3Dv4), but it definitely adds a lot to the atmosphere at the airport! This is definitely a step up from the previous version Sierrasim released, when they were still SimDesignsCo.

RICHER SIMULATIONS - CARIBSKY: ST. VINCENT 2019 FSX P3D

RICHER SIMULATIONS - CARIBSKY: ST. VINCENT 2019 FSX P3D

Beautiful scenery. I love these sorts of sceneries that include the airport as well as the island with some POIs in the city. Everything is very well done, modeling, texturing and photoscenery - for the price it's a great deal! Also comes with a nice and modern configuration manager that handles all sorts of things for you, including scenery updates. I should also add that Richer gives phenomenal support. Quick, to the point, and very helpful!

TROPICALSIM - EPPLEY AIRFIELD KOMA FSX P3D FS2004

Just bought this at one of TS's sales. Took it for a quirk spin in a default aircraft. I have to say, this is a pretty great scenery, especially for the sale price I paid! Very pleased. The ground textures look very good and I appreciate the detail on the terminal buildings. Also performs very well. For the 12Euro I spent, certainly an addon worth buying!

CLS - 3 AIRBUS PACK

CLS - 3 AIRBUS PACK

I really like this package: the aircraft look good, the liveries look good, and the VC is okay. The aircraft are not modeled with great realism, but it's okay. There seems to be a weird bug with shutting down the engines though: when you do, you still hear the loud rumble of the engines, as if you never shut them down. You can, though, get third party engine sounds and that'll hopefully remedy the situation (havn't tried it myself). Currently, this is probably the best A300/A310 simulation you will get, and it's fairly good indeed.

OVERLAND - FLY INTO THE SKY! - AIRBUS EDITION

OVERLAND - FLY INTO THE SKY! - AIRBUS EDITION

I actually quite like this package. The models look very good, and the VCs equally so. Furthermore, the price is not high, and you get a lot of aircraft. The panels are so-so, so don't expect a highly realistic simulation. The default souds are used, but you can easily go to avsim or flightsim.com and downlaod freeware sounds and panels. I'd say this package is great for those hat don't want a too technicaly advanced sim, that looks good. If you want somerthing more precise, then I'd say look at the CLS, Wilco or Airsimmer offering (of which the latter is not yet released, but looks very good!). Otherwise, buy it. Definetely worth the money.
