This airports is one of the best small airports you find here. Nice details like painted walls and rusty hangars, animated people entering a plane on the apron. Great night-lightning. FranceVFR is one of the few developers i will buy new airports without any further information.
hmmm, the airport is well made and filled with life. There is no tower frequency, only traffic - for such an aiport. There's no ILS and no RNAV approach. For me this is only half the immersion.
A proud price, but worth every penny! I don't take a deep dive into the feathering sound, Touch down etc. It's a complete brutal fit package for everyone who loves to fly the islander.
I have become a collector of these small GA airports on the French west coast from TBLFScenery. You get lovingly detailed airports at a fair price. You can tell by the little details that the developer has fun with it. A real recommendation to buy
After I bought and tried this airport, I bought four more from this developer and I can say that this is one of the finest things you can get for GA flights. I will not comment on the other airports now, so this absolute buy recommendation must be enough. Worth every penny!
Realy great with all the lovely fine details. This is a showcase airport for GA. The red garage door alone was worth the money. I got myself four more airports from this developer. Really great to recommend.
A great implementation of the airfield in Friedrichshafen. Even the little things are considered. Floor tiles with grass, stickers and signs. The old airport building by the GA department looks great. This airport is splendid for both airliners and GA pilots. If you consider what is buzzing around at payware airports out there, then I can give five stars here without hesitation.
Well done. I don't know the airport personally, but I checked it again in Google Earth after I just landed there and looked at it day and night. The night lighting is unobtrusive and the entire airport is very detailed and built with love. I also have the MSFS airports from Justsim, OrbX, FlyDesign and Gaya Simulations and I think this one fits in very well here. I will probably stop by here more often from now on.
I like to give five stars, but rarely. I already have the St. Catherine Airports from FSX3d, which is just bad, and Gap Tallard, which is very good and lovingly detailed. I danced around Barcelonnette for a while. The price is set quite high for such a small airport and it is already available in the community as freeware. But today I decided to buy it because I love flying in the region. The airport really surprised me: the approach on the sloped runway, the small, loving details, the really well-made buildings - and the wonderful surroundings. This is one of the rare packages where everything is right. My respect. And now I can say: I was happy i payed the money because I will fly to this airport as often as possible.
This Airport itself is a beast and the amount of things you have to be considered by designing "the Idiot" (witch is the translation of the spanish "el Prat"). But i had some defects on Runway 25R and Taxilights follow into nothing. Hope, the developer will fix this. Sure, this is just my opinion, and i have seen realy bad Airports, converted and with ugly textures from 1980 for MSFS. But i´ve also seen ORBX and Gaya with LOWI, LOWG, LOWG etc. witch gave us a sneak peak for what's possible in this Sim. This Airport is good and the price is ok, but i wish the developers spend more time into setting things up for MSFS.
