I have a lot of SamScene but this disappointed me. The traffic doesn't stop and resume but just blinks out like I Dream of Jeanne. Even free freeware on X-plane starts the traffic at the gates & then traffic drives back to crossing gates. The traffic is connected to strobe light rather than landing light. The Rock itself is white which is not correct. Pictures of traffic waiting at gates is misleading.
Nothing negative to say about this scenery, not 1 thing. Already had a great one but this an unbelievably detailed version with a custom mesh that compliments the local terrain with detail missing in other versions. It also has airport detail to the 9's. Best version to date & that's considering all the excellent versions that already exist. Everything about it is top notch. Very happy !
Finally the 3rd airport for NYC & looks pretty good for a fair price. Great timing with SamScene NYC here & all bridges thanks to RK. It looks fine, better than I expected with acceptable frame rates for my set up,(10600k locked tp 4.8 on all cores) and an RTX 3070 OC. I have enough frames that I don't see most rigs having any problem with less.
I have been waiting a long time for this airport to be done and had the city already. I think the textures look very good with great color & clarity. Hard to get custom jetways that work like asobos but I'm alright with that until it reasonable to expect them. All in all I would recommend the airport but I have no opinion on the veracity of taxiway or signage accuracy as I wouldn't know & don't fly Vatsim or such. Just looks awesome and how I remember it from X-plane so I think for myself 5*'s easy.
I accidentally deleted my community folder 2 days after you pulled them from .to so I was so glad that they were over here & not gone forever. New York would never be whole without these once you know they exist. Your work is really good I only wish the sim made seamless placement possible like ortho roads on water & such but still it's amazing how good flying is in 2021 & I have to remind myself. I have zero frame difference with these bridges on my rig but not expecting frame hits in NYC is naive. Again, no difference here. I'm from Boston originally so guess what else I'm getting ? Thanks !!
Had this on X-Plane 11, version 1 & then version 2 so a must have for the new sim. Great job on this one. I get good frames with no complaints.
Makes a huge difference on this big city and gives you the main areas of Santiago. I had this on X-Plane & really liked it so was very happy to have it now on MSFS 2020. Wish the amusement park was still in the scenery but no big deal. Now there's a new Santiago airport to make the city complete. I'm gonna get that next. Five stars no problem !
As always, great job on this one. Details are everywhere and frames are good as long as you don't use that 3D Helsinki City freeware with it. Then you'll get 3 FPS ! Use the free landmarks for Helsinki & it's a great place to land at. These guys have been doing this forever & you can't go wrong with JustSim.
I have been waiting years for a realistic version of La Palma, 1st on X-Plane & now on MSFS & this is better than I could have imagined. The highly detailed terraforming with all levels of roads, departures, arrivals & parking accurately represented. So much detail & with my I5 10600K & my RTX 3070 (neither overclocked), I was getting solid 60 FPS while recording the flight. I have several of your other sceneries & I will be buying more as you guys certainly have my attention, thanks so much !
You know how many years I've been wanting this scenery! For years I kept hoping they would port it over to X-Plane or that somebody, anybody would make it. Well I got a whole new flight sim & now I get to see the airport the way she really looks. Great job & the terminal & upper arrivals & departures are awesome. Please do all you have for this sim as it needs all the help it can get, Thanks FBS !
Wow, what a great job on a massive airport. CDG default looks awesome so not having a decent Orly wasn't cool but now we have a great & detailed version. I'm not flying virtual airlines so I am not the one to say anything about signage or taxi way errors but it looks great to me & I'm happy so I would by from them again, in fact I have several others by JETSTREAM DESIGNS & happy with all of them. Thanks guys & keep them coming !
Let me say that this is not a critical review or in depth in any way other than my feelings about this airport compared to what Asobo had us tolerating. It isn't all that bad & I'm just glad we have a version that resembles the real one enough that anyone should recognize it right off. At least the terminals aren't 10 stories high like office buildings, oh wait, they were office buildings. Ya, so not a bad representation at all considering even the best scenery out there gets roasted occasionally. I had a hard time getting it to show(nothing to do with the scenery) but finally got my content straight. This is a big airport & for not too much money I'm fine with it. If you're looking for DD quality then you might be waiting a long time so for now I'm happy.
Looks even better in MSFS 2020 than in X-Plane. So, I was there last night & took the A320 on a short(really short) flight from Menorca & it was so nice to have such a great airport there with almost everything working. The only thing for me was (& this applies to most developers) is the lack of DGS so finding the spot where the gates will acknowledge your aircraft. Once docked, the gate executed perfectly. I don't know about signage as I don't use it much but it looks great & it was on sale & I want to support this developer so they can keep making good airports in the future. I have a lot of JUSTSIM on 2 platforms & think they are very good at a fair price so I can recommend this one.
I thought it would good as I have their X-Plane version & it is looking even better on MSFS. These people are really good at this & I hope they broaden their scope of sceneries for MSFS. The scenery looks more like the real deal than any other sim I know. It's like being in Sint Martin. All this & very reasonable too. I certainly recommend this scenery by this company !
Beautiful airport & looks very well done with good detail & no shortcuts that I've seen yet. I am not the one to ask about accuracy of layout such as taxiways & signage but this has the look of a serious builder so hopefully those features are on par with the aesthetics. It's a nice area also. I would buy from this developer again with no concerns. Yup, I like it !
So much more than the pics can show. The acreage alone was the first thing that struck me & buildings are very well done & I chose the static planes option & they look great. So much to see if you want to check out the whole place, just taxi around & get the 50 cent tour. It's also surrounded by some of the best local scenery I've seen to date & on the coast. I recommend this one with no reservations.
Rather impressed with this & only payware for this airport so needed it to complete DD's Poland series. Looks very good up close & all in all, glad I bought it. Thx Flydesign !
Last update made this a true payware with great detail & ground clutter galore. What a deal for a major airport, + city scenery offered for free ! Fixed all issues to my satisfaction. I recommend it !
