NORTHERN SKY STUDIO - TALKEETNA AIRPORT MSFS
Northern Sky Studio has captured the look and feel of Alaskan municipal airports with their Talkeetna. It became my favorite scenery immediately upon landing there, when I saw how many static aircraft there are...a hallmark of Alaskan airports because of the prevalence of aviation there. As has been mentioned, Talkeetna is something of a "bush hub" where most of the Denali flightseeing originates. Some of the static aircraft are K2 Aviation ski-equipped DH2s and turbo DH3s and the K2 offices are there and faithfully reproduced (right down to a service desk computer suffering a BSOD!). The surrounding area is also enhanced, with the rail bridge and the village airstrip both represented. The quality of the modeling here is outstanding, and it's well worth the price. I'll be buying whatever they release next, and in the meantime, I'm having a great time "basing" out of Talkeetna.
