The product comes at a relatively low price, however the quality is not outstanding. The main terminal building is simple but reasonably depicted as well as the general layout of the airport. However, certain features (i.e. the Vulcan) are reproduced with a relatively low quality. I have bought it because it's my local airport, but it would do with a lot of improvements in my view.
I have been waiting for this product for a while, I love the F104. I want to stress that this review is not amazing mainly because the price is not exactly cheap for what I can see in front of me with v1.0. I am 100% sure that many of these concerns will be resolved in v1.1 and what I am writing will go out of the window. The graphics and animations are awesome. There is nothing to say about that if not: "chapeau". So many liveries, and sounds are good! The documentation is a bit "all over the place", sometimes not in the best possible English, and with some gaps. Several systems have not been implemented (and many not at the depth I was expecting from the product description), but v1.0 already has all the systems you need to go from A to B. The radar is a very very very nice element of the cockpit. To be honest, you have everything you need to take off and intercept an "enemy". Two things made me think. - All over the documents they claim that performances are realistic. "Flight dynamics modelled 99% close to the real aircraft; fully tested and validated by qualified real-world F-104" My model in the sim lacks of power, it has rolling behaviours that I cannot believe to be real, etc. Many other users report similar issues in forums. I am not having a go at the developers, but clearly the model is not 99% accurate neither is a "study level" as they claim in their manuals. HOWEVER, THIS IS THE FIRST SUPERSONIC JET THAT HAS ITS OWN FLIGHT DYNAMICS! I am sure it will develop to become amazing. - In order to manage your game, you need to run an external program. Sorry, I personally really don't like it, and I find the program not exactly amazing to look at either. But this is just my personal preference. In conclusion, I have a strong feeling that v1.1 will deserve 5 stars plus. However, I would have expected more for the price they ask for at this stage and given the description of the product. I would probably buy it again (I love the 104!!), but I spend a lot of money on sims...
The product is very expensive for the actual content included; however, the content is very good. Pity that an appropriate autogen is missing. This is an island where houses are all white, and the current autogen has them very "Mediterranean". The 2m mesh has been a great update. I would have probably rated it lower but the developers are fairly responsive and keep updating it, this is great! By the way, I used this product A LOT!
Helpful tool! Great to have, very stable over the sim updates. I mean, you need it if you want to be serious!
Easy 5 star. Aside from the immense work that the developer(s) put in, this product simply changes how the Italian coastline looks like. Great value for money at the price I bought it, and free updates available so far. I am still impressed by how it changed the simulator just by adjusting the coastline. No more to say, defo 5 stars!
