FS ACADEMY - NAVIGATOR MSFS

FS ACADEMY - NAVIGATOR MSFS

FS Academy delivers yet another high quality product. NAVIGATOR builds on the skills taught in its VFR product, going into more depth on the skills and techniques needed for navigating VFR. As with their other products for MSFS, the exercises start simple each building on the skills from earlier exercises until your pulling them all together to fly a 4 leg, 3 hour flight around the beautiful Highlands of Scotland. The exercises are set in a variety of countries keeping it interesting and varied. If you haven't gained the skills to stay straight and level at a given speed and altitude and perform simple turns then I'd suggest starting with the VFR product first or you may get frustrated with NAVIGATOR. Trying to fly the lessons without first reading the related section in the [ground school] Manual would be a mistake as the in-flight narration, whilst very clear, serves better as a reminder of what you learn in the guide; trying to learn just from the narration whilst also managing your aircraft will leave you struggling to complete the flight properly and you'll not enjoy the experience nearly so much. My only disappointment was the scoring. As the FS Academy support page states "Only a basic form of scoring is currently implemented, awarding the maximum score if the mission is completed successfully. More refined scoring may be implemented in the future. The awarded score is not retained by MSFS, so will not be shown in the menus." Having said that, it would be the icing on the cake as the product great already.

Anti-Piracy Warning

Protecting Your Purchase

The flight simulation add-ons you are purchasing are legally protected and copyrighted on an international level. This ensures that the creators' rights are upheld and their innovative work is safeguarded.

Why Piracy Hurts Everyone

Piracy undermines the dedication and creativity of developers. When you download or distribute pirated add-ons, it impacts the creators' ability to continue producing high-quality content. This affects the entire community by reducing the availability of new features and updates.

Consequences of Piracy

  • Legal Risks: Engaging in piracy can lead to severe legal consequences, including fines and prosecution.
  • Security Threats: Pirated software often carries malware, risking your personal data and system security.
  • Lack of Support: Unauthorized copies do not receive official support or updates, leading to potential issues and vulnerabilities.

How You Can Help

  1. Purchase Legitimately: Always buy add-ons from authorized sellers like SimMarket to ensure you receive authentic products.
  2. Report Piracy: If you encounter pirated add-ons, report them to the authorities or the original creators.
  3. Educate Others: Spread awareness about the negative impacts of piracy and encourage others to support developers by purchasing legitimate copies.

Thank you for supporting the flight simulation community and contributing to a fair and innovative marketplace.
