TABURET - USA VFR ANIMATED OIL WELLS MSFS

TABURET - USA VFR ANIMATED OIL WELLS MSFS

This is another great little addon! To my knowledge, there is NO other MSFS scenery (Freeware or payware) that models oil wells. This addon really came in handy as I was free flying over Utah and all of a suddenly, I struck oil! LOL From a distance I was wondering what the structures were and as I got closer it was an oil field! I was amazed at how well the oil well machinery lines up with the terrain. I could clearly see the default "houses" and fences line up perfectly! Up close you can see Taburet lined up the machinery perfectly ovcer the Bing maps. If I had been flying out there without this addon, I would have had no idea I was flying over oil wells. It would have looked like ordinary ranch houses with an odd texture next to it. I didn't even know Utah HAD oil wells at the time of the flight. I would have totally flown over this area without giving it a second glance. VFR wells certainly, adds immersion and is educational as well. I had alot of fun flying the H145 from one site to the other and researching the area. I even got out of the Heli and went in for a closer look. The animations are great! The texturing on the machinery is very basic, though. I am sure this is to save FPS which it does perfectly. They had no impact for me, and I was in a giant Field of these things going on for miles. This addon highlights the extreme strength that MSFS has over all of its FS predecessors, the ability to explore and discover. Randomly stumbling on an oil field really makes this addon worth the few bucks I paid for it! Easy install and no problems. I highly recommend using this scenery during sunset/sunrises for some eye catching MSFS streaming! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

TABURET - INTERNAL WATERS BOATS TRAFFIC GLOBAL MSFS

TABURET - INTERNAL WATERS BOATS TRAFFIC GLOBAL MSFS

I feel like I have become the Taburet Spokesperson lol. I own alot of Taburet sceneries since I love global addons. They add so much to the sim and this is no exception. I picked up this one recently and had the pleasure of already running into some boats as I flew around Utah. Literally boats in the rivers! I have 2 nitpicks. is I would love to see some updated models or models that match the area more. One of the boats I saw looks more like it belongs in Venice! The other is sometimes the boats do not follow a natural path. They can move a little unnaturally. However, I would not let that deter you one bit! The boats do stay in the water and the randomization is REALLY good! I did not see 2 boats that were alike in one journey. It is a real joy to be out in the middle of nowhere and see some boating action! Especially when you are in a Heli and can follow the boats and practice your skills. Ray is a really good developer who responds to emails and feedback. I am happy to promote his stuff because he really seems to care about making us simmers happy. This addon is WELL worth paying full price and even more worth it at the current discount. (I paid full price) Seriously, this adds life to the sim! There were ZERO FPS hits or stutters so far. I do have a very good computer but Ray really knows how to not bog down the computer. I run A TON of his addons at once. I have tested them all both on and off and I honestly barely notice any difference in FPS. Personally, this is another must have along with his Birds addon!

TABURET - NIGHT3D USA PACIFIC MSFS

TABURET - NIGHT3D USA PACIFIC MSFS

Great universal addon for MSFS. Before I go any further, I would like to note I was given this as part of a bonus for a large order from the developer, however, it in no way effects the following review (I was going to buy it anyway). I also will be copying this review as I do own many Taburet Lights. is literally the second addon I recommend you buy for MSFS, the first being Taburet Birds. This comes from experience, I own almost every payware scenery for the west coast across multiple websites, AND a good portion of the rest of the world. This would be the 2nd thing I buy for MSFS, literally. The value for what you pay enhances the scenery greatly. Especially on cross country, roads that were dark and boring come to life! I have been using this for some time and when I went back to the vanilla night scenery it felt like something was broken! It especially shows in the middle of nowhere, where areas come to life that would otherwise be dark. I’ve even had to go back and explore an area during the day just because I took notice of the lights. I do also own a few Illuminators and Just Flight's Relight. Those are GREAT for specific areas, but once out of the city everything is bland again. Night 3D fixes that! I actually can run ALL 3 at the same time and the effect is AMAZING. Plus, the cities not covered by Illuminators or 3rd party scenery truly look great with Night 3D. There are so many colors of lighting too! Disneyland had some cool colors going on! I like how Night 3D adds lights to various objects. I haven't asked but I believe the Developer uses some kind of data that accurately places lights. Even flying the Grand Canyon, I was surprised to see random little clearings or ranches lit up. Matches the ground textures pretty good! There is a possibly slight downside, (at least as of the current version I believe) the floating light bulbs are visible during the day. The light isn't visible, just the "bulb". In other words, if you are looking closely during the day you will see the light source as these little tiny colored floating ruby’s. It can destroy immersion (or even add immersion to duller scenery) however it’s just something to take note of incase you are shooting some custom scenery in the daytime at low. It’s an easy fix, just remove Night 3D out of the folder if you know you’re flying day and add back in if you know your flight will hit night. But honestly, I just usually fly in the daytime with Night 3D on. Its more something I noticed then something that bothers me. I noticed no considerable FPS hits, but I am running a very good computer in VR. I always run ALOT of addons. I feel confident that most people should have no trouble running this. I haven't noticed any conflicts with any addon scenery. Also, Ray checks and responds to emails very regularly so tech support is a 5 too. Literally, this would be in my top 10 if I could only choose 10 addons. It just enhances too much to go without!

TABURET - CANADA BIRDS MSFS

TABURET - CANADA BIRDS MSFS

Although I was gifted the Canada version by Ray, (developer) I started out by buying most of his sceneries, including Birds USA. Having said that, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Taburets Bird series! This addon would literally be on my list if I had to choose 10 addon sceneries to take with me on a desert island. (I own ALOT of payware for MSFS). Taburet birds is literally a MUST HAVE! I also own FSBIRDS. Although the animation for FS Birds is a little better, you rarely see any birds and the birds are programmed for specific areas only. TABURETS BIRDS, show up EVERYWHERE! I LOVE it. THE DIFFERENCE IS BLACK AND WHITE! It brings life to otherwise dead and boring sceneries and enhances detailed addons to a new level. It gives canyons depth and buildings height. I think Taburet birds should be one of the 1st addons you buy. The birds REALLY give you the feeling of speed as you fly by them. In MSFS sometimes it looks like you are sitting still, these birds fix that. I actually ducked in VR while flying the F104 and nearly hitting a pigeon. Also, Ray is one of the nicest coolest dudes in our sim community. He always answers emails, IN DETAIL, and has a passion for what he does. Get Taburets Birds FIRST, then FSBirds second. They do work together, but you may need to tweak the way your community folder loads. Even then, sometimes it seems FSBirds is not there. Taburet Birds are ALWAYS there. Note: I will probably be copying this review for the other birds series. Review score: 15/10 (seriously)
