FEELTHERE - KBNA NASHVILLE AIRPORT MSFS

FEELTHERE - KBNA NASHVILLE AIRPORT MSFS

Agree with the above from "Daniel." The scenery is reasonably well-modeled, and with no interiors, performance is great. Lighting is a little basic but much better than stock. Nice to see the fuel farm, ARFF station and VOR modeled, along with the taxiway overpasses modeled, though the roads underneath have not been adjusted very completely. There are some amusing static items like construction equipment around the former drainage basin which is being filled and paved over as part of the billion dollar-plus airport reconstruction, but oddly some Navy (USMC?) F/A-18s parked over near the military side, which are not appropriate for the site. The military hangars also still reference the former TN ANG C-130 wing over there, but do have Army Nat'l Guard copter statics. The airport is also missing the main ATC tower, which is plainly visible on Google Maps (labeled as US Sector Radar Unit, complete with a pretty nice ground level photo). That would be a good addition. All in all, much better than the stock autogen but could be improved.

NORTHERN SKY STUDIO - KETCHIKAN INT - MSFS

Excellent little airport with really nice area scenery of the surrounding village, piers and landscape. While I agree that some of the textures could be improved, it's still a very nice bit of model-building overall. My one substantive complaint is that the two ends of the runway are reversed when displayed on the MSFS World Map. That is, the southeast-facing runway is labeled on the World Map as Runway 29, and the northwest-facing runway is labeled as Runway 11. If you're starting cold & dark at a gate or ramp, this is no big deal. But if you spawn on a runway for a quick VFR flight or to test a new aircraft, this is confusing and should be corrected.

RKBRIDGER - NEW YORK CITY BRIDGES MSFS

Really like this package. Combined with the Samscene 3D New York City Times package, Manhattan is truly a magical place to fly in MSFS. I would rate it 5 stars but the impact on FPS cannot be ignored for those with lower-end systems. Although I have an i7 11th gen CPU and 3070, there is still about a 5-7 fps impact with this installed as compared to the Samscene package alone. So although this performance impact does not really reduce my personal enjoyment, it is something that must be considered if someone is running the sim on marginal hardware and waiting/hoping for GPU prices to return to some semblance of "normal" again.
