FSDG - MALDIVES - VRMM & MALÉ ATOLLS MSFS

FSDG - MALDIVES - VRMM & MALÉ ATOLLS MSFS

It's quite surprising and frustrating that in this day and age a developer choses to have an extremely complicated installer. it reminded me of old installers from the early 2000s. The scenery is quite nice though, a good representation of the present day MLE airport and surrounding islands. However, the tedious and confusing installation process leaves much to be desired, thus spoiling the overall experience.

TABURET - HAWAII PLUS REEF XP12

TABURET - HAWAII PLUS REEF XP12

I would not recommend this product for the following reasons: First of all it looks like no effort was made whatsoever to color correct the tiles, you can clearly see tiles from different sources or photographs and terrain that does not match in color which sadly is very distracting and looks ugly. Second, the imagery is extremly low res ands blurry in major towns and cities such as holulu, kona, kahului, amongs others. Third, there are many issues with the mesh specially around bodies of water such as lakes and the coast, you will find hundreds of terrain elevation issues and sunken ground. Fourth, no work was done on the overlays and buildings. You pretty much get the default overlays on top of poorly made mesh.

AIRWORTHY DESIGNS - TFFJ ST. BARTS MSFS

AIRWORTHY DESIGNS - TFFJ ST. BARTS MSFS

Badly optimized. Many stutters when paning camera into certain areas of the airport and city buildings and when flying over. The windsocks are floating in the air. I also encountered an issue with the runway textures or lack of, given that when you get close to the touchdown markings of the runway, the textures dissapear and you can see the satellite image instead. My specs: i7 10700k OC@5Ghz, 32Gb RAM@3600, RTX4080, Simulator installed on SSD, resolution: 3440x1440. I dont recommend this product until they fix its issues and performance. Better off with the Asobo TFFJ.

MEX HIGH FLIGHT - MMZH IXTAPA-ZIHUATANEJO INTL AIRPORT MSFS

MEX HIGH FLIGHT - MMZH IXTAPA-ZIHUATANEJO INTL AIRPORT MSFS

The models of the scenery and polys look like something they imported straight from flight simulator 2004. It's aparent that they are just trying to make a quick buck. This should be freeware, there was no attention paid to the airport surroundings such as modifying the height of the trees for example or adding exclusion zones. There is a large tree in the middle of the ATC tower. Very lazy work indeed.

How You Can Help

  1. Purchase Legitimately: Always buy add-ons from authorized sellers like SimMarket to ensure you receive authentic products.
  2. Report Piracy: If you encounter pirated add-ons, report them to the authorities or the original creators.
  3. Educate Others: Spread awareness about the negative impacts of piracy and encourage others to support developers by purchasing legitimate copies.
