Very happy with the performance on my old PC.. I hate to say I have the other version and while it's above this, my old PC couldn't handle the other one due to the amount of detail. FeelThere isn't perfect but the visuals are nice and performance is great for the few times I fly into SLC!
Updated from a previous review. First, the design and graphics are truly great. However, the ILS approaches and even the RNAV ones don't work no matter what plane I fly into the airport with... Fenix, PMDG, FBW, etc. Every airport I have works just fine and has no issues with the approaches.... Maybe a sim update and NoLimitSky not updating the data broke something?? I no longer use this which is unfortunate. Even BeyondATC had an issue giving me proper vectors because of the broken information.
It's good if you really want it... but like many other said, there are MANY issues with bumps in the terrain, flickering textures, issues with the bridges, disconnecting jetways, etc. Get it when on sale or if you REALLY want MCO. I really want to enjoy it, but it can be hard to at times.
Excellent bang-for-your-buck.. nicely optimized and looks great! Would like to see other USA sceneries if they'd be open to it.
One of the only airports that struggles when looking toward the city. I have an older PC, I admit, but all other sceneries from FlyTampa, Flightbeam, FSDT & iniBuilds run smooth. And this runs smooth-ish when I look away from the city. I've lowered LOD to 10 on both, yes 10, just to see if it made any difference and it has not. It needs some further optimization, especially for the lower-end PC market. I also run mainly medium settings with my old i7700k & GTX1080. Just strange that other scenery builders and large airports are smooth and this just tanks my FSP by 40-50%. Using the Fenix it's unusable. So, I tried the FBW A20N and it's *slightly* better, by about 5 FPS. I didn't purchase from Simmarket, but direct from LVFR & downloaded through Contrail. But, I purchase a lot from Simmarket and like to see reviews here.. hence why I'm leaving one for KSAN since I do own it.
First off, I didn't purchase on SimMarket. I purchased directly from A2A I'm blown away by the sounds and "feel" you get from the program. I use some planes that just don't have a great sound-set when it comes to turbulence and even grown noises during taxiing, etc. Another great and worthwhile purchase!
VERY impressed. I've used another 'quick fix" or "quick shade" program that gave me poor results, even after following their instructions... the other product gave me such dark nights I could hardly see anything. THIS product has been incredible. If I could attach screen shots I would. Buy it.. I think for a quick shade program they did an incredible job. Even the clouds are much, MUCH better!
Is it "perfect"... no... is it still great.. YES! Worth the few dollars (regardless of which denomination you purchase in). I've been in flight sim for the past several years, late starter, and have slowly added to my collection with different aircraft, scenery and now shaders, etc. I'm truly happy with this purchase as of 12/30/2018. It does truly change the skies from stock P3D into something much more immersive and appealing to look at. Time will tell how it ages. Regardless of how it ages, it is WELL WORTH the minimum price they have it at. I'm not one to want to spend a lot on shaders, PTA, etc. and the time it takes to change configs. This did the trick and I look forward to whatever else they create! NOTE: I know a lot of people want to know about FPS..... I didn't notice many, if any, drop in frame rates. Maybe, and again, maybe 1-5 fps dropped. And that may just be me overthinking things ;)
Great looking, easy on frames (especially for the level of detail), etc. Excellent scenery! I wish they made more for the United States. I will probably buy the STL and MCO scenery but wish they had others. I don't typically fly outside of the U.S.
