FS ACADEMY - IFR MSFS

FS ACADEMY - IFR MSFS

Underwhelming, if still useful, compared to the VFR offering. * The documentation is a little lacking, and lessons move too quickly when discussing the glass cockpit transition. * Modules are near sunset which can make seeing your screens difficult in the 152. * The change in 152 to 172 can be a bit jarring with the performance difference. Not big in itself, but it adds a layer of anxiety when the lesson is arriving fast. * The ILS lesson was a bit of a let down, as the glide slope discussion felt like an afterthought. I would have like to see them touch on proper capture technique, and adjustments to avoid chasing the GS. Overall I thought it was an okay offering, with good information, it just lacks some detail and polish that would elevate it to recommended status.

PILOT'S FSG - BOEING B-314 - THE CLIPPER MSFS24/20

PILOT'S FSG - BOEING B-314 - THE CLIPPER MSFS24/20

A product similar to the MSFS Legends series, but lacking documentation. This plane could have been apart of the MSFS Legends series. While the aircraft isn't finally detailed, systems wise, it is still a faithful and flyable representation of the aircraft. The biggest problem is the lack of documentation. The creator did a wonderful job of putting together a document that details the rich history of the aircraft. The issue is that it doesn't include, what I would consider, proper documentation and tutorial material to fly the airplane as intended. The plane has some instruction how to fly it, but it references systems and instruments that aren't not illustrated in the rest of the documentation. It would benefit greatly from a picture (literal or minimal draw up) with each instrument or system labeled with a number and it's written name in the corresponding number beneath. Other stuff would be listed cruise settings, and those sorts of items.

Why Piracy Hurts Everyone

Piracy undermines the dedication and creativity of developers. When you download or distribute pirated add-ons, it impacts the creators' ability to continue producing high-quality content. This affects the entire community by reducing the availability of new features and updates.

Consequences of Piracy

  • Legal Risks: Engaging in piracy can lead to severe legal consequences, including fines and prosecution.
  • Security Threats: Pirated software often carries malware, risking your personal data and system security.
  • Lack of Support: Unauthorized copies do not receive official support or updates, leading to potential issues and vulnerabilities.

How You Can Help

  1. Purchase Legitimately: Always buy add-ons from authorized sellers like SimMarket to ensure you receive authentic products.
  2. Report Piracy: If you encounter pirated add-ons, report them to the authorities or the original creators.
  3. Educate Others: Spread awareness about the negative impacts of piracy and encourage others to support developers by purchasing legitimate copies.
