BRSIMDESIGNS - BRSIMDESIGNS ERCOUPE 415C MSFS24/20

Updated Version (1.5.0) 2025 Review (Almost there!) First of all, this is my dream plane IRL. If I'm able to buy an airplane, it'll certainly be an Ercoupe or one of the many variants. Second, although I've not flown a 'Coupe IRL, I'm a low-time PP, and between XP and MS have easily logged 500-1000 sim hours in these beautiful and unique girls. The Good -Stunning 3D work and beautiful liveries. I always have trouble deciding which livery to sim. All are gorgeous making it easy to find one you like. -Realistic Upgrades. Dual Comm and a Mode-C transponder are almost a given today, as well as the landing lights, strobes, and beacons. -Incredibly stable, neutral, and predictable. Basically the opposite of Piper's "Trauma Hawk." The Bad (or still needs improving) -Extremely optimistic climb performance. Enough said. -Extremely optimistic glide performance. -Perpetual motion roll. To address other concerns Trim her for 65 KIAS somewhere in the pattern (remember carb heat) and you can float her down nicely with the throttle. The canopy seems closer to the later Forney/Alon design which matters not to me. Conclusion Although some of the performance metrics out-of-the-box are unrealistic, (some) improvements can be easily made in the .cfg file. Add a smidge of drag, increase the prop length, and voila! -An excellent addition to any sim hangar, especially given the planes history, development, and significance. -It's just FUN! Perhaps not absolutely perfect and would love to see further improvements/development, but it really is super fun to fly.

Why Piracy Hurts Everyone

Piracy undermines the dedication and creativity of developers. When you download or distribute pirated add-ons, it impacts the creators' ability to continue producing high-quality content. This affects the entire community by reducing the availability of new features and updates.

Consequences of Piracy

  • Legal Risks: Engaging in piracy can lead to severe legal consequences, including fines and prosecution.
  • Security Threats: Pirated software often carries malware, risking your personal data and system security.
  • Lack of Support: Unauthorized copies do not receive official support or updates, leading to potential issues and vulnerabilities.

How You Can Help

  1. Purchase Legitimately: Always buy add-ons from authorized sellers like SimMarket to ensure you receive authentic products.
  2. Report Piracy: If you encounter pirated add-ons, report them to the authorities or the original creators.
  3. Educate Others: Spread awareness about the negative impacts of piracy and encourage others to support developers by purchasing legitimate copies.
