DEVINCI - KROC - ROCHESTER AIRPORT - MSFS24
Very happy with this scenery as a former (until 2023) Rochester-area native who's been through this airport many times as a passenger. The details are beautifully rendered and (at least from the parts I saw in real life) highly true to life. I want to give a special callout to the developer for rapidly updating the scenery in response to an email I sent reporting some issues. The PAPI glidepath lights were missing on runway 04, and the instrument approaches were missing from the nav database in the previous 2020-compatible version of the scenery (although that might've been because I was running it in 2024). The studio CEO/founder responded directly and informed me of the brand-new 2024-native update from a month ago (Feb. 2026), and he pushed out an update the same day(!) to fix the missing runway 04 PAPIs. Apparently, these PAPIs were absent in real life (maybe for maintenance?) when reference images and charts were examined in 2022 for the initial scenery release, so this was true to life. The PAPIs are back in real life as of 2025 imagery and charts, which is now reflected in this scenery as of the 2026-03-02 update. (All of the runways now have PAPIs matching real-life charts, i.e., all runways except 07 have them.) All instrument approaches are now present in the nav database as well. In terms of performance, I get excellent FPS on most of the airfield, but it gets substantially heavier when I come close to the terminal (due to the high level of interior detail modeled). I'm running an nVidia 3050 laptop GPU with only 4 GB of VRAM, which is below the posted minimum requirement (8 GB), so I wouldn't consider this a demerit (still 5 stars) - just something to be aware of if you're on a limited machine. Performance is good on all the runways (so it shouldn't cause major problems on approach); it just tanks when I taxi onto the main terminal apron. The cargo and GA ramps are sufficiently "out of range" of the terminal that performance remains strong there. Guess I'll need to get a better GPU so I can fully enjoy high-quality scenery like this. ;-)
