PRO MODS - AIRBUS A380 CUSTOM MODS FSX/P3D1-6

PRO MODS - AIRBUS A380 CUSTOM MODS FSX/P3D1-6

Leaving aside the fact that the A340 cockpit that comes with this does not really reflect the A380 cockpit, this product fails to replicate the Airbus systems or FMC. It is therefore very much an A380 ‘light’ version, which may satisfy those who simply want to have a flyable A380 but will fail to satisfy those sim pilots who  want to fly using the Airbus methods.

Having been very critical of some other products from this developer, I am pleased to be able to give Brazzaville a good review. The airport has been produced with a fair amount of detail and although the textures are not quite up to FSDT or Fly Tampa standards, the overall appearance of the airport is good and it looks real. More importantly, unlike some of his other airports, this one seems to have been well optimised,

ANTS AIRPLANES - TIGER MOTH PRO FSX P3D

ANTS AIRPLANES - TIGER MOTH PRO FSX P3D

This is a great simulation of this classic biplane - the VC and external modelling are excellent as are the flight dynamics and the sounds which are a very true replication of the Gypsy Major engine. It also comes with a very useful and innovative interactive pilots handbook. Highly recommended and great value!

AEROSOFT - SAMOS FSX P3D

AEROSOFT - SAMOS FSX P3D

This is one really high quality product with excellent airport detail and a very good rendition of the island as a whole, particularly the area around the airport itself with all the landmarks you need to look for on the approach. In addition, the VAS usage is low and the FPS achieved flying in the area (if you are interested in FPS) is surprisingly high. Very highly recommended!

VIRTUALCOL - SAAB REGIONAL PACK FOR FSX P3D

VIRTUALCOL - SAAB REGIONAL PACK FOR FSX P3D

As a big fan of turbo-prop airliners and not wanting to wait for the pending Razbam Saab 340, I decided to buy this, tempted by the reasonable price for essentially two different airliners coupled with a huge variety of colour schemes. I was not expecting too much but I have been pleasantly surprised by these aircraft and have ended up flying them quite a bit, The external models are moderately well detailed and reasonably accurate although perhaps the finish is just a little too shiny! The sounds, certainly for the Saab 2000, seems quite realistic. Furthermore, although I have never flown either in real life, the handling characteristics seem reasonable. Internally, unfortunately, these airliners really are not up to the standard one expects from cockpits in FSX today - I almost always fly from the virtual cockpit and VCs on these two models can only be described as being of pre-FS9 standard in terms of appearance. On the positive side however, all the cockpit systems that I have used so far seem functional. I am giving this package 3 stars as it is good value for two airliners and has proven very enjoyable. If VirtualCol improved the virtual cockpit to FSX standards then this would warrant 4 if not 5 stars.

Why Piracy Hurts Everyone

Piracy undermines the dedication and creativity of developers. When you download or distribute pirated add-ons, it impacts the creators' ability to continue producing high-quality content. This affects the entire community by reducing the availability of new features and updates.

Consequences of Piracy

  • Legal Risks: Engaging in piracy can lead to severe legal consequences, including fines and prosecution.
  • Security Threats: Pirated software often carries malware, risking your personal data and system security.
  • Lack of Support: Unauthorized copies do not receive official support or updates, leading to potential issues and vulnerabilities.

How You Can Help

  1. Purchase Legitimately: Always buy add-ons from authorized sellers like SimMarket to ensure you receive authentic products.
  2. Report Piracy: If you encounter pirated add-ons, report them to the authorities or the original creators.
  3. Educate Others: Spread awareness about the negative impacts of piracy and encourage others to support developers by purchasing legitimate copies.
