Great work, Nemeth! I've never been a fan of helicopters in FS, but this one changed my mind. The systems replication is very convincing, as are the virtual cockpit and cabin. I've never used a chopper in FS that is as easy to fly and hover as this one! I'd love to see Nemeth tackle some of the REALLY big Mils, too....like the Mi-26 or Mi-6...or even the Mi-12!
Great model, sounds, panels, and VC (particularly the VC!)....but be forewarned: your system better at LEAST measure up to the minimum specs specified by Captain Sim. This plane is a real frame rate hog.
Simply put, you'll find no better B-17 for your PC. Great hand-flyer flight model, great sounds, and amazing VC! Just buy it!
By far, this is my favorite payware military plane. The model, 2D panel, and sounds are stellar. The VC is simply in a league of it's own. As a bonus, on my P4 2.8G machine I see frame rates in the 30-40fps range...even with the sliders to the right. The flight model will definitely keep you honest, particularly on landing! Simply put, don't hesitate to buy this plane...even though the price is a bit steep.
