Jacksonville in the north east of Florida USA is the most populous city in the south outside Texas. The St Johns River is a large river running through the center of the city and has a major port and Naval bases. A large river has large bridges and some of the large bridges are the Dames Point Bridge, the Green Monster Bridge, the Blue Bridge and the Buckman bridge.
This package has 21 Bridges starting in the north at Amelia Island and ending in the south at the Buckman Bridge. See the coverage photo.
The MSFS2020 scenery is a vast improvement over previous flight sims. However bridges over large waterways, rivers or other bodies of water are very noticeably bad and are an eyesore destroying realism. Rkbridger packages solve that issue with bridge packages which show the bridges in their true magnificence.
All the bridges are accurately modeled in the correct architectural style, with appropriate night lighting and traffic flows on the bridges. Many water fixes including marinas and are also included.
POIs have been placed at the bridges which are listed below.
Photogrammetry must be ON to ensure bridges integrate correctly with the sim.
Bridges modeled are:
Heckscher Bridge, Amelia Island
Crady Bridge, Amelia Island
Sawpit Creek Bridge
Fort George Inlet Bridge
Clapboard Creek Bridge
Fish Camp Bridge
Browns Creek Bridge
Blount Island Bridge
Blount Island Rail Bridge
Blount Island Pipeline
Dave Rawls Blvd Bridge
Dames Point Bridge
Mathews Bridge
Hart Bridge, aka: The Green Monster
Alsop Bridge, aka: The Blue Bridge or Main St Bridge
Another masterpiece from rkbridger in a beautiful surrounding! For less thean 10 Dollars or 9 Euros virtual pilots will get an immense eqivalent and a much better view of the bridgers than Asobo and their deveolping partners can provide due to the use of the satellite radar technique which causes nasty shadows. Hope to see more bridges soon...
I check every week or two to see if Rkbridger has released another bridge scenery. This artful work adds so much to the sim experience because bridges add so much to the personality of a city in real life.
