How to install and run FStarter?

- Run FStarter Setup.exe and install it to a FStarter directory.

 

What can you do with FStarter?

-  Teleporting will let you explore and move around in the wonderful MSFS world in a fast and easy way. 

-  Select and start a flight from any of MSFS's 400+ 3D Cities, 150K+ non-3D Cities, MSFS's 1000+ POis / Landmarks or own defined POIs / Landmarks, at selected altitude, heading and speed.

-  Start your flight, in the air or from the ground.

-  Add POIs / Landmarks of locations selected from maps.

-  Add POIs / Landmarks at the location of an active MSFS flight situations.

  POIs can be defined at :

                           - Your house, your school, your cabin, etc.

                           - At any airport runway ready for takeoff or at an airport Gate/Ramp

                           - In an Airport Traffic Pattern situation, like Final, Downwind, Base, Entry with altitude, distance(km or miles) and speed settings to  any airport

                           - Any type of flight situation, Takeoff, Climb, Cruise, Approach, Landing.

- Start an active flight from a new location selected in a map or at a POI

.- Set altitude, heading, speed and time  to alter the flight situation.

- Train approaches and landings at any airport and runway.

- Start you flight from a field, shoreline, top of your house, start anywhere from a MAP location

- Save flight and start flights with complete MSFS data 

- Adjust Time in real time

This is such a great application for MFS2020. Finally i am able to bookmark my favorite locations as my own points of interest. And that with just entering a name and pressing the save button. Same comfort is re-loading them from a POI Button and selecing one of my fav locations from the in built overview Listbox. The integration of all the additional map features and having access to such amount of cities with one click now without having to cancel the flight is such a great feature. I had some app closing / crashing issues with my first usage of FStarter and received instant e-mail support from the developer which finally solved all issues quick which hav all been on my side.

Praktisches Tool. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig im Umgang. Wenn man seine eigenen Standorte festhalten möchte statt immer wieder mühselig danach suchen zu müssen ist das genau richtig. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist etwas schmal gehalten. Die einfachste Option eine POI hinzuzufügen wird erst später beschrieben. Man wünscht sich zu dem einen oder anderen Text ein Bild. ----- In der BingMap: POIs Verbindungsversuche sind ein Glücksspiel. Manchmal wird “FStarter“ einfach beendet. Wie ich an die Koordinaten komme ist nicht das Problem. Aber wo ist Map B, G oder L. ----- Verbindungsversuche zu Little NavMap gingen garnicht. Bei mir wird “FStarter“ ebenfalls beendet. ----- Da man POIs auf die einfache Weise schnell hinzufügen kann, vergebe ich 4 Sterne. Das Funktioniert und darauf kam es mir auch an. Für die anderen Funktionen ist evtl. noch etwas Nacharbeit angesagt. Der Preis ist jedenfalls Fair. ----- Was ich allen Entwicklern für den MSFS-2020 zu gute halte ist die Tatsache, dass Updates des Simulators nicht immer zum Besten der Entwickler laufen. Da ständig mit Updates hinterher zu sein ist ein mühseliger und zeitlicher Aufwand. Abgesehen davon das es dann auch noch Billig sein soll.

I love it. I did not know this existed until today. I have not used all the functions of this software. I just posited about 12 miles away from the airport KLAX 7R and at altitude 4000 feet, 135 kts on the A320 Neo, and hit the button "START FLIGHT" landed..then just hit the button again and again like 10 times and repeated the landing multiple times. I have not used any of the other functions. I don't care. This alone is worth the 10 Eur! Love it Love it! " When I get ome time I'll read the other functionality like POI etc.
