L'Aeroporto Marcello Arlotta è un aeroporto civile italiano situato nel comune di Grottaglie, in Puglia, non lontano dalla città di Taranto. La struttura comprende un terminal passeggeri, gestito da diverse compagnie aeree italiane e straniere, e un importante stabilimento industriale di Leonardo SPA, dove vengono assemblate le fusoliere dei Boeing 787.

Nonostante sia classificato come "aeroporto civile", l'aeroporto ospita anche la più importante base aerea della Marina Militare italiana, MARISTAER, che gestisce diverse unità, tra cui:

  • Il Carrier Aircraft Group (GRUPAER): denominato "Wolves", che vola con i caccia imbarcati AV-8B+ Harrier II e F-35B Lightling II;
  • Il quarto gruppo di elicotteri (GRUPELICOT4): che utilizza elicotteri da trasporto, d'assalto e antisommergibile SH-90.

Presso l'aeroporto è presente anche la Sezione Aerea di Manovra della Guardia di Finanza con i suoi aerei ATR-72 e gli elicotteri AW-169.
