Álvaro Rey Zuñiga Airport or El Caraño Airport is located 2 km from the city of Quibdó, Chocó, Colombia. The airlines operate Aexpa, TAC Colombia, EasyFly, Satena 1 El Caraño airport has an airport service center since mid-2017 with more than 50 commercial stores, food court, entertainment and more, apart from this it will have a 50-room hotel and a public library. 2 In June 2018, a four-room cinema opened in its facilities, the only one in the entire city and the first cinema located at an airport in Colombia. Regional flights to Bogota, Medellin and the Colombian Pacific are operated from El Caraño. Its passenger traffic is mostly of travelers linked to mining activity and ecological tourism.
