This manual contains both the ‘how to fly and use the 787’ and the ‘Magknight specifics’ (the Simulation part – for example, installation and setup).

2. Tutorial Flight Manual – this includes a normal flight that is explained and broken down in depth across 222 pages, with lots of screenshots and graphics to help you follow along the way. The OFP (operational flight plan from SimBrief) for this flight is included in the download folder.

The other two documents are a changelog of updates and the OFP for the tutorial flight. All documents, apart form the changelog, are PDFs.

The documentation covers both the Magknight 787-8 and 787-9, the -10 documentation will be added once the variant is at a standard that equals the -8 and -9 variants.

The documentation will be updated alongside Magknight 787 and simulator updates. Also expect updates to correct any reported errors or to answer any feature requests from further questions about the aircraft from you.

Any major updates to the Magknight 787 and so to the manuals unfortunately may not be free if there is substantial work involved.

Learn about the Real 787

Across 6 pages, a brief summary of the important 787 specifications is given.

For example, a detailed table of each variant’s performance constraints (including speeds, weights and take-off distances), dimensions and range. Comparisons are made with how the performance of Magknight’s simulation is different to the real aircraft. Learn about the materials used in the real aircraft along with the fuel tank capacities. Ownership of the Magknight 787 and X-Plane 12 or 11 or higher is required (otherwise the product is useless to you). The documentation was written for X-Plane 12 and 11 but should work for future versions (there will also likely be documentation updates).
