Nakhon Si Thammarat International Airport (IATA: NST, ICAO: VTSF) is in Pak Phun subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat district, Nakhon Si Thammarat province in southern Thailand. Located on Royal Palace No. 4103, Village No. 10, Pak Phun Subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat District. Nakhon Si Thammarat Province It has approximately 14 kilometers from the city to the north. The total area is 2,902,400 square meters. There is a total aircraft parking area of 34,000 square meters (85 x 400 meters), divided into 9 B737 ATR- 72 2 platforms, 2 helicopter platforms, runway size 59 x 2,100 meters, consisting of the following main buildings:
The main passenger building has a total area of 30,600 square meters, can accommodate 1,600 passengers per hour, 4 parking pits adjacent to the building, 2 aircraft concourses, and has the following usable areas.
1st floor, arrivals section It consists of an arrival hall, passport control for international arrivals, 3 baggage claim carousels (1 international and 2 domestic), along with a passenger service area.
2nd floor, departing passengers section It consists of a departure hall, 22 ticket counters, automatic check-in machines, a ticket office, a baggage screening point, a passport control point for departing international passengers, and a departure waiting hall. Connected to 4 boarding gates (1 international, 3 domestic), airline lounges, shops and restaurants.
3rd floor: retail space, restaurant, sky lounge and offices
The original passenger building has a total area of 5,400 square meters from 1998–2023, consisting of an arrivals terminal area of 470 square meters, a departure terminal area of 470 square meters, accommodating 225 arriving passengers per hour and departing passengers. Departing 225 people per hour, total 450 people per hour. The number of aircraft that can support up to 32 flights per day, when the new building is open. The building has been renovated into airport offices, airline offices, conference rooms and a shipping building.
