Astor Piazzolla International Airport (FAA: MDP - IATA: MDQ - OACI: SAZM), is an airport that is located in the town of Camet, about 7 km north of the center of Mar del Plata, in the province of Buenos Aires. At 1400 meters from the head 13, is the railway line that connects the city of Buenos Aires with the city of Mar del Plata. This airport is the headquarters of the Mar del Plata Military Air Base of the Argentine Air Force.
