simwest is a small development company for flightsim platforms Prepar3Dv2, v3, v4, FSX and FSX Steam Edition. They produce enhanced 3D photoreal scenery products for areas in the USA. Previous freeware products were in 2003 the 'FlightDeck Sound Effects Panel' (FDSFX) for FSX and P3Dv1, v2 and v3. The also developed in 2008 '9 Dragons Kai Tak Airport' for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. Both of these products had over 100,000 downloads.

Marcus Thompson (known as Clutch Cargo on many forums), creates his projects during his spare time in San Diego, California, USA.
