Come to Grenada, also known as the Isle of Spice, through the Maurice Bishop International Airport (IATA: GND, ICAO: TGPY), which is situated in Point Salines, Grenada's southernmost point. The capital of the Island of Grenada is St. George's, which is located roughly five miles north of the airport. The airport bears the name of Maurice Bishop, the previous prime minister who supported the development project back in 1979.
