In 1949, the de Havilland Aircraft Company developed the successor DH.112 “Venom” from the DH.100 “Vampire”. The basic design was based on the design of the "Vampire", with changes to the wing - leading edge sweep of 17° and the thickness ratio to be able to carry the wing-end tanks but also to enable a higher weapon load. Due to the use of the larger "Ghost engine" compared to the "Goblin engine" of the "Vampire", the air inlets in the wing root had to be redesigned. We at Snuff-Dynamics have concentrated on the models that were used by the Swiss air force. From the very beginning, the "Venom" was equipped with an ejection seat. From 1954 to 1983, the “Venom” was in service as a ground attack aircraft/fighter-bomber. In addition, 24 aircraft were converted into reconnaissance aircraft (Mk 1R), equipped with cameras and targeting devices.

For a nice flight experience, there are also numerous hours of testing the model by real pilots, since there is a difference between “data behavior” and visual impressions.

Also the gameplay is an important factor, which most of the sim-producers do not pay enough attention to. That’s the reason why in very small details there are some simplifications in our models, eg. no hidden Switches.

Another important factor is the modularity of our products. We are continuously developing our models, eg. weapons capability.

BUT there is one major point to highlight: if you are looking for highres-graphics of the external model, counting all the rivets and spending your time to look at your aircraft: DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL. Instead buy one of the other nice sim products available on the market. But if you want to enjoy the real flying experience, THIS IS THE RIGHT STUFF.
