With all the Sonic Solutions sound packs HD isn’t just a buzz word...it’s a basic standard. In fact if a sound pack isn’t originally recorded in 24bit/48k or above...they are not really considered High Definition at all. Lucky for you all audio recorded at Sonic Solutions is in 24bit/48k resolution and stays there during editing and mixing. In the mastering process all the sounds are properly dithered down to 16bit/48k, the highest resolution the FSX game engine accepts, all using high quality Apogee™ converters.

What does all this audio gobly gook mean to you? It means you’re guaranteed the best possible sound in game with rich smooth high end and sub shaking bass all without sacrificing dynamic range or quality. A lot of time and effort was spent preserving the sound of the AW109 and taking these measures is something done as a standard...not a feature. This sound pack works for any AW109 for FSX with SP2/Acceleration...even port overs to FSX!
