Located on the southwestern coast on the island of Lanai, Hawaii

Lanai Airport, Lanai City, and the surrounding area of the Island have been hand-crafted to replication in this scenery enhancement package for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. State owned, this public-use regional airport is the only airfield on the island of Lanai, and serves as the central transportation hub for residents and tourists of the island. The airfield serves commercial, general aviation, air taxi, and military traffic. Often less visited compared to the neighboring islands, the island of Lanai has no shortage of dramatic coastlines, mountains, and beautiful beaches.

-Accurate runway, taxiway, and apron enhancements

-Handcrafted, replicated airport buildings with high resolution physically based rendering (PBR) textures

-Over 16 square miles of custom, enhanced satellite orthophoto textures that include the entire area of Lanai City. These textures have been worked for a seamless blend and have removed nuisance cloud textures. A huge improvement over the default MSFS imagery

Nice modeled airport, very easy on frames and very well detailed. For those simmers who like me like to fly in Hawaii this is an excellent addition to the fleet.

I love flying between airports in the Hawaiian islands so I was thrilled to see another nicely modeled Hawaii airport for MSFS! The only knock I have on this airport is that none of the airport terminal interiors are modeled. However, there are some static people and animated passengers outside the buildings to add some life to the airport area. There's also plenty of cars in the parking areas as well as baggage carts and other items lying around which give the airport that used look and feel. The PBR textures and materials are nicely done. The attention to detail such as signs, fuel tanks, etc. adds to the immersion. All this detail and no noticeable hit to my framerates is a bonus! Well done!

This is a great island hop destination in Hawaii! It offers a challenging landing with the short runway and high winds that the Hawaiian Islands can offer at times. This scenery offers high detail of the terminal buildings, hangars and airport surroundings. The modeling and texture work is high quality and follows the new standard that MSFS scenery designers need to be following in order to be competitive in the payware scenery design market. Very happy with the scenery, looking forward to more from this developer. -Mac

Another great scenery in Hawaii by South Oak Co. Really brings the island to life and gives a great experience v the standard scenery. Great job and hopefully more Hawaiian scenery to come by this team!

Love it! Must have for VFR pilots who island hop because the base game released with a lackluster Hawaii. Parking spots on the ramp are also fixed from the mess that the base game gave us. I hope in future updates of this fine DLC that the VOR station south southeast of the airport is modeled and the terminal building gets clear glass windows instead of the grey-green opaque windows they have now.

This is awesome! Another high quality and detail scenerie from this publisher, with a fair price! The frame rates are also great, with no lag on my i9-10900K. For those who love flying in Hawaii (like me!), then this is a must-buy!

I enjoy flying in tropical areas and Hawaii is one of my favorite. This airport is a must have if you enjoy island hoping and realistic airport renditions. Highly recommended.
