Specter helps DCS World pilots review and understand their missions after landing.

Load a supported replay or ACMI file and revisit the entire engagement through an interactive 3D mission theatre. Follow aircraft, missiles, ground units, radar contacts, weapon launches, hits, misses, kills, and other important events from multiple viewpoints.

Use the timeline and playback controls to slow down, pause, rewind, and examine the moments that mattered. Select individual entities to inspect their movement and engagement history. Tactical and insight panels provide additional context for missile launches, radar locks, defensive actions, target losses, and other mission events.

Specter is designed for pilots who want more than a simple mission result. It can help identify positioning mistakes, missed threats, ineffective attacks, poor timing, and opportunities for better coordination. It is also useful for instructors, squadron groups, mission builders, and players who want to study large multiplayer engagements.

WHO IT IS FOR

Specter is intended for DCS World pilots, multiplayer squadrons, instructors, mission designers, content creators, and anyone who wants to learn from previous sorties.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Specter is a companion application for analysing supported DCS World replay or ACMI data. It is not a replacement for DCS World and does not include DCS World, aircraft modules, terrain, or third-party simulator content.

Compatibility depends on the replay or ACMI format and the information available in the source file. Some events may be incomplete, unavailable, or displayed differently depending on the mission, aircraft, recording method, and DCS World version.

DCS World is a trademark of Eagle Dynamics SA. Specter is an independent third-party application and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Eagle Dynamics SA.

RELEASE STATUS

Specter is being offered as a full Release 1 build. Future updates may improve compatibility, visualisation, filtering, coaching tools, and support for additional replay data.
