Overview

FS-ATC-Chatter is a collaboration with LiveATC.net to bring high-quality ATC audio clips to the flight simulation community. FS-ATC-Chatter is a collection of over 59,000 audio files designed to support the controller chatter playback capability in Pilot2ATC. The product also includes a stand-alone player for FSX, FSX Steam Edition, P3D V1 – V5, MSFS 2020 and 2024 for those people who don’t use Pilot2ATC.The stand-alone player also supports an integration with Say Intentions.AI.

Clip Characteristics

Clips are broken down into separate files each of which represents a single exchange between a pilot and an ATC facility such as Clearance, Ground, Tower, Departure, Center, Approach, and for VFR CTAF.
The separate files for each exchange allows Pilot2ATC or the stand-alone player to insert pauses between playback allowing you to interact naturally with ATC.
The clips are categorized by world region so you can install a collection of clips for the area of the world you are flying in. Version 1.2.3 has the following file counts by region:
- United States: 16,290
- Europe: 17,379
- Canada: 12,609
- South America: 925
- Asia: 7,858
- Africa: 683
- Oceania: 4,240
Clips are edited to remove any glaring location-specific information. As an example the exchange “United 6626, Boston Tower, Line up and Wait” will have been edited to say “United 6626, Tower, Line up and Wait. References to specific SIDS, STARS, Ramps, Taxiways, Runways, and way-points are not changed.
Clips are organized by controller so when you are tuned to a specific controller type on your radio you will hear clips associated with that controller.
Each clip has its audio volume adjusted so that all clips have roughly the same volume level.

A fantastic product which does the job as expected. Ideal for added immersion and for hobby pilots not wanting to faff about with window menus all over the place. Simple installation and when up and running there is no need to fiddle about with it. Just enjoy flying instead of twiddling with settings all the time. I have used it with the FBW 320 and am blown away by the added realism. The clips are not perfect - sometimes saying good morning when I am flying at night, but that is not an issue for me. A decent product and one I can safely recommend. Well done you guys. :) :) :)

This is a great little add on. It really adds life and immersion to FSX. A great variety of samples that rarely repeat. Totally worth having!

Excellent product. I bought it last night and have been enjoying it since. It makes those long flights not boring. The immersion is fantastic. Thousands upon thousands upon thousands of audio clips from all over the world. Different countries, continents and places. It’s customizable to your region and place and can be set up easy. Highly recommended. I can’t fly without this anymore and the price is a bargain for all that you will get. Great investment.

INCREDIBLE! How have I gone over a year without knowing this product existed? It's not perfect but it definitely deserves 5 stars for the sheer effort put in to collating this many audio files! I would say this is for anyone who flies VFR, doesn't use ATC much and wants to be far more immersed. If you think that's you, get this!
