Birmingham–Shuttlesworth International Airport (IATA: BHM, ICAO: KBHM, FAA LID: BHM) is the primary and joint civil-military airport for the city of Birmingham Alabama and suburbs. It is located North East of the city, in Jefferson county. With an average of 259 operations daily, and 43 destinations in 40 cities, BHM is the busiest airport in the State with around 2.6 million enplanements per year. It also includes a separate cargo terminal used by several cargo airlines and the United States Air National Guard 117th has its base on the airport.
The airport has undergone many recent improvements including new A, B and C concourses in 2014 and an extended runway.

10/10 in my book. for someone who lives basically next door to this airport they nailed this one. perfectly designed from the quarry to the north to i-20 running south of the airport, its all accurate as can be. happy someone finally showed my hometown airport some love.

Was gleich einmal positiv auffällt: Die Runways sowie Taxiways und das Vorfeld sieht schön benutzt aus; besonders auf den Rwys vermitteln durch die Witterung aufgeplatzte Farbmarkierungen und der Belag den Eindruck von Gebrauch. Auch die Gebäude sind solide umgesetzt. Paar Punktabzüge gibt es von mir für die meiner Ansicht nach etwas unliebsame Umsetzung des Bodens und der Umgebung.

Excellent detail coupled with great FPS. Overall, an outstanding rendition of KBMH. SXAD's airports seem to get better with each release. Hard to beat quality of this kind for the money, and it fills a nice little gap in the mid-south region.

Really impressed with this one. Sure it's not top-tier type quality but it's still very, very good. Frames through the rough and butter smooth. The price is just right for what you get. I am pleased that they are doing the smaller commercial airports....please keep it up!

I have to say, I've flown around it several times and really enjoyed the view. The look as you come in on final is nice and it's going to make some, otherwise, long flights short. You can hop down to Birmingham on the way to Chicago or Florida. Easy on frames. SODE too. The SXAD airports keep getting better.

Great detail, great price, and a great airport. What's not to like? SXAD is a top developer in my book due to the fact they give these smaller-medium airports some attention. Can't wait to see what they have in store next.
