Cairo International Airport (IATA: CAI, ICAO: HECA) (Arabic: مطار القاهرة الدولي; Maṭār El Qāhira El Dawli) is the principal international airport of Cairo and the largest and busiest airport in Egypt. It serves as the primary hub for Egyptair and Nile Air as well as several other airlines. The airport is located in Heliopolis, to the northeast of Cairo around fifteen kilometres (eight nautical miles) from the business area of the city and has an area of approximately 37 km2 (14 sq mi). It is the busiest airport in Africa and one of the busiest airports in the Middle East in terms of total passengers.

Endlich eine sehr gute und sehr detaillierte Umsetzung von HECA die läßt die MSFS Premium de Luxe Version alt aussehen.Die Inneneinrichtung des neuen Terminals überzeugt, die Auffahrtrampe ist befahrbar,leider nicht die Decke des Terminals im ersten Stock um alle Details zu sehen;vielleich kann man das noch verändern! Eine kleine Unstimmigkeit gibt es noch östlich der 23L bzw. 05 R hier ist das Gelände zu bräunlich dunkel nach Goole Earth ausgefallen und weicht vom übrigen Airport Gelände stark ab.Vielleicht gibt es ja noch ein Update!

Great airport, great job considering the size of this plateform. Yes, there are still some adjustement required on runway (especially 05R too bumpy) but this is the first time we have a real good Cairo airport. Terminals, textures are great ! A lot of details and buildings. The terminal for heavies is impressive with inside modeling. Approach and departures are marvelous

Complicated and large airport - nice try from Taimodels, but for this price it is far from the quality level like Flightbeam, Flytampa, inibuilds, orbx and aerosoft..... The elevation of the airport is wrong. and needs a fix! I did live 5 years close to the airport on Tarek El Matar and never had to climb a hill to get to the airport! ;-) Peter Hougardy

It's a beautiful airport and very detailed. My only complaint is that the entire airport doesn't load up until you are about 10-15 miles out. It remained a huge white squares until my plane gets about 10-15 miles out, which is fairly close to the airport. My PC has Gen 4 M.2 NVME drives with 7 GB read speeds so that shouldn't be an issue at all. The other specs are: RAM DDR5 16 x 2 Intel i7 14700KF RTX 4070ti
