Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) in Bengaluru is India’s third-busiest airport, handling over 41 million passengers annually. Opened in 2008, it features two runways and two terminals—Terminal 2, inaugurated in 2022, is eco-friendly and now serves all international flights. The airport is largely solar-powered, well-connected by road, and will soon be linked by metro and suburban rail. It has also gained recognition for accessibility.
