Faro Airport (Portuguese: Aeroporto Internacional de Faro) (IATA: FAO, ICAO: LPFR), also known as Algarve Airport, is located 4 km (2.5 mi) to the west of Faro in Portugal. The airport opened in July 1965. A total of 6.4 million passengers used Faro airport in 2015. The airport became a hub for the first time in March 2010, when Ryanair decided to base seven of its aircraft there. The airport gets very busy during the summer months, namely from March to October, to the extent that the airport becomes a slot coordinated airport.
Faro Airport is capable of handling six million passengers a year. There are 22 stands of which 16 are remote, with 60 check-in desks and 36 boarding gates.
Since its opening in 1966 Faro airport has had two major developments, the new passenger terminal building in 1989 and its enlargement in 2001. Faced with growing traffic demand and passenger safety and satisfaction needs, the development plan for 2009–2013, means Faro airport undergoes extensive improvements to runway and infrastructure as well as a widespread renovation of the airport terminal and commercial areas.

Its just too expensive for what it offers
Low resolution textures (eg gate numbers), some unacceptable 2D models (main airport sign), default jetways and i think default concrete ground textures as well.
I also had some trouble running ils and rnav approach.
Don’t get me wrong. It’s a good looking airport overall but comparing other airports from other companies in this price range, Faro from Tropicalsim is way too expensive.
I sincerely hope for some updates in the future …. Tropicalsim … your costumers are waiting for improvements… and I 'll gladly change my review is I see any major update…
Very positively impressed with this developer´s support.
A330s are a limitation of FS2020, not Tropicalsim´s fault.
Highly recommended.
It´s a pitty because graphics are quite nice and frame-rate is good.
And I don´t know if its a problem with the scenery or with the simulator itself, but for some reason, if you have ground aircraft activated, the airport is overpopulated with A330s, which is not particularly realistic at this airport and damages inmersion.
Hope the developers update it soon.
Absolut sein Geld wert! Der Flughafen ist sehr detailliert und auf dem neuesten Stand. Sieht sehr gut aus und ist absolut rahmenfreundlich.Ich warte auf LPPR und LEBB scenery....
