Cyril E. King International Airport (IATA: STT, ICAO: TIST, FAA LID: STT) is a public airport located two miles (3 km) west of the central business district of Charlotte Amalie on the island of St. Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands. It is currently the busiest airport in the United States Virgin Islands, and one of the busiest in the eastern Caribbean.
The airport also serves nearby St. John and is often used by those traveling to the British Virgin Islands.
The airport operates one main runway, 7,200 ft × 150 ft (2,195 m × 46 m) long. The terminal operates 11 gates.
Historically, a number of airlines operated scheduled passenger jet service into St. Thomas as well as St. Croix in the past. These air carriers included Air Florida with Douglas DC-9-10s, Caribair with McDonnell Douglas DC-9-30s, Eastern Airlines with Boeing 727-100s, 727-200s and 757-200s, Midway Airlines with Boeing 737-200s, and MD-87s Pan Am with Boeing 727-200s as well as A300B4s, A310s and Trans Caribbean Airways with Boeing 727-200s. One air carrier that has served St. Thomas for many years is American Airlines. In 1974, American was serving the airport with Boeing 707 and Boeing 727-100 jetliners with nonstop flights to New York City. In 1994, American was operating Airbus A300-600R wide body jets into St. Thomas with nonstop service to Miami.
Cyril E. King Airport also hosted a number of charter airliners, from the 757 to the 767 to the DC-10. It was known as Harry S Truman Airport until 1984, when it was renamed to honor Cyril Emmanuel King, the second elected governor of the U.S. Virgin Islands. A new passenger terminal opened in November 1990 and retained the name.

Awesome airport, if you like TNCM and good old KCGX , you will love this. Runway length is good for GA landing. also, in P3D v4 finally (I got nice watercolor) use (Spring at 09:00 am) you will get at this time nice watercolor. also FPS friendly.
not like MEGA Airport.
good addon with good price.
I did not know about TROPICALSIM until I received an email regarding the sale at Sim Market. Due to the cost I thought it would be worth taking a chance and I'm glad I did.
The installer worked fine except you don't get installation instructions until after the install which is when the PDF file pops up explaining the process. I accidently missed the auto config button for the scenery when I first installed the addon. Make sure you allow the installer to automatically make the scenery.cfg entries and you should be good to go.
The graphics for TIST look awesome with no noticeable frame rate impact. Additionally, the scenery loads rather fast for an addon which is not the case from other developers. I'm extremely pleased that I know have really nice scenery for St. Thomas as I frequent the airport quite a bit . . . especially in winter.
I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants great scenery for a great airport!
Being that this is my home airport it represents the airport exactly the way it looks in real life. I just wish they would have added more scenic objects to the area like the Sky car, in the area where the cruise ships are. the water front sea plane ports and the downtown shopping mall strip areas. but I enjoy landing here now even more before I do my island hopping! Now I gotta get back to reading the "READ ME" files on how to fix the landclass. because the mountains and some of the scenery outside the airport is not leveled.
Been a long time supporter of Tropicalsim sceneries. I go back to fs2004 and I even bought their full pack of Caribbean airports. Even thought their sceneries have improved a great deal, they still fall way short of the Elite developers. TIST is a good example of how they always fall short of my expectations. On this latest version they did not model the entire island and could not think to add lights to their light poles. Just laziness or a lack of care for their work. I echo the same thoughts for all the sceneries that I own and I have almost all of them.
