The Airbus A380 is a double-deck, wide-body, four-engine jet airliner. It is the world's largest passenger airliner; many airports have upgraded their facilities to accommodate it because of its size. Initially named Airbus A3XX, Airbus designed the aircraft to challenge Boeing's monopoly in the large-aircraft market; the A380 made its first flight on 27 April 2005 and began commercial service in October 2007 with Singapore Airlines.

The A380's upper deck extends along the entire length of the fuselage, with a width equivalent to a wide-body aircraft. This gives the A380-800's cabin 478 square metres (5,145.1 sq ft) of floor space; with 49% more floor space than the next-largest airliner, the Boeing 747-8, the cabin provides seating for 525 people in a typical three-class configuration or up to 853 people in all-economy class configurations. The A380-800 has a design range of 15,700 kilometres (8,500 nmi; 9,800 mi), sufficient to fly from New York to Hong Kong, and a cruising speed of Mach 0.85 (about 900 km/h or 560 mph; 490 kn at cruising altitude).

As of July 2013, Airbus has received 262 firm orders and delivered 106 aircraft.
Emirates has ordered the most A380s with 90.

Scenery it’s great in v4 in v5 the dynamic lights module it’s not working it’s been reported but not fixed as they are focusing their attention to msfs now it’s a shame really

Nice model very essential extremely light a little retro' inside, the good thing of this model is one time that you trim the airplane you can forget the commands, , good turns also very tight in acrobatics, fast in the speed shooting, but a little bit stiff in the tonneau and in the looping in totally is a good plane for have fun

I appreciate the effort because it's free but sorry this isn't very good; - the colours don't blend with the surrounding scenery at all so the two areas stick out like a sore thumb, - there's strange elevation changes around the College Grounds (look at the football pitch!), - the Models of the Buildings just don't "look" good, see the Power Stations Chimney at the top for a perfect example. Really well detailed, but in order to make it look as realist as Medellin area you really must follow the instructions for Autogen etc. I have Pilots Mesh and Orbx global and LC South America vectors and it blends flawless.

Bought this airport in September 2019. While visually well done -- accurate and pleasing, it is an inconsistent performer. Framerates sink to single digits on approach at dusk and can vary greatly (~60 to the teens) from the gate to departure and pattern ALT. Good purchase overall for me, but consider the performance. My machine is a Intel i7-6900K32GB RAM, GTX 1080Ti which generally has no problems with this level of scenery complexity.

Really nice airport with cool features and details. Maybe there is a compromise between high texture quality and performance, but I think there have been found a golden mean, especially for a such a big airport. I also noticed few minor bugs, but I'm pretty sure that fixes will come soon.
