Turbine Sound Studios proudly presents our brand new Boeing 737-6/700 CFM56-7B22 Pilot Edition soundpackage for FSX / P3D recorded in HD High definition.

This Pilot Edition is created as heard from the cockpit, and includes recordings from the UK,Germany and Denmark.

This is a specific pacakge for customers that will use the package with the PMDG Boeing 737NGXu FSX/P3D. It will not work correctly with other models.

This package includes the following :

Installation videos
All new recordings.
All new editing methods with matched engine pitch values.
External engine sounds.
Internal engine sounds.
New layered wind sounds.
Cockpit environment sounds.
External running APU.
And much more.

All recorded in HD and compiled to meet Microsoft Flightsimulator X / P3D specifications. (For FS2004 users, only the externals will not sound correct, as it will be a mix between intake and exhaust sounds)

TSS is a sound designer who I have missed when flying X-Plane as that platform really could have needed some great sound packs. Now that I'm back in P3D, I purchased this set for use with the BBJ. The soundset is in true TSS-fashion very crisp and clear-sounding. I've found only two flaws which prevents a 5-star review, the first being the start-up sounds. It is not very fluid and also a bit different in volume in the transition between sounds. The second is a bit of FM noise when descending as the engine sits at 40-50% N1. This fades away when getting close to 20,000 feet and the N1 drops even further. Overall a good soundset and I most certainly can recommend it as the overall quality of the sounds lifts the immersion which flight simming is all about.

Ein Jammer, dass man das vorher nicht testen kann. Hatte gehofft, durch das Update zumindest mal eine halbwegs gute Atmosphäre, die einer 737 gerecht wird, ins Cockpit zaubern zu können. Sollen die sich doch mal bei der Zibo 737 (Freeware!) abgucken, wie so etwas geht. Kurzum, ich bin total enttäuscht vom Soundpaket und habe es gleich wieder entfernt.

The sounds alright alright, exterior is better than the default but the interior has a lot to be desired. I fly these jets and the default is better sounding including the deep bass mid range thrust. There's some sound files that I think are in there from other sets that are not heard in the 737 at all. Overall a bit of a miss.
