Area: Midlands, and Mid Wales

UK2000 VFR Airfields Volume2 includes 81 airfields in the middle section of England and Wales. This geographical area is the same as the 'Gen-X' VFR photographic ground scenery released by Horizon  simulation software. Although designed to fit in to 'Gen-X', users do NOT need this to use this 
product, how ever I would recommend it for the ultimate visual experience. This version 2 also has seperate file that blends into Orbx FTX England

Each airfields is made to a high standard with photo real textures in many places. A lot of the airfields are totally new, but some parts are imported from previous work but updated in many ways. Designed specially for FSX, the scenery uses a lot of the FSX objects and effects, like moving road traffic, flying birds and conventional 'AFD' taxiways and runways. The scenery is compatible with FSX SP1, Acceleration, SP2,FSX Gold, FSX-SE and Loadhead Martin Prepar3D all versions.

What an incredible addon! Not only does it add countless detailed airfields, it also adds several popular airports! As someone who is training at Norwich with plans for doing circuit training at Little Snoring, buying this addon was a no-brainer. The airfields are incredibly realistic, even down to the parking spaces! The realistic photoscenery and great price make it a great addition to any simulator. I would definitely reccomend!

Having bought vol 1 and loving it, I just had to get this as well. I am glad I did as now nearly every airport and strip is covered in the southern UK. I’ve come across many interesting and different places as I explore. I’ve encountered A10s and C130s, DC3s, and more flying around and some doing circuits like at Duxford for example.  With vol1 and vol2 I finally have good reason to fly around the south of England and Wales. Before I got these it all just was so dull and uninspiring. Not anymore. Couldn’t be happier. The frames are excellent even with both volumes running. Great value!
