About
My experience developing add-ons for flight simulation is in the area of navigation data. I'm the creator of a navigation database utility called FSAerodata, developed for FSX and Prepar3D. It offered global coverage and was updated monthly via AIRAC, making it the first of its kind in flight simulation. FSAerodata set a benchmark in the flight simulation and has been utilized by thousands of simmers over the years.
My newest product is a simulation of pilot-controlled-lighting (PCL) systems, commonly found at many small airfields and towered airports worldwide, which has been overlooked in the history of flight simulation franchises. The system simulates the manual activation of airport runway lighting by the pilot. This is the first simulation of such a system in the history of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
