Manchester–Boston Regional Airport (IATA: MHT, ICAO: KMHT, FAA LID: MHT), commonly referred to as Manchester Airport, is a public airport 3 miles (5 km) south of the central business district of Manchester, New Hampshire, on the border of Hillsborough and Rockingham counties. The airport lies in two communities, Manchester and Londonderry. Manchester–Boston Regional Airport is by far the busiest airport in New Hampshire and the only one with substantial commercial service. It is also New England's fourth-largest airport by passenger volume, behind Boston Logan in Massachusetts, Bradley International in Connecticut, and T. F. Green in Rhode Island.
Scenery Highlights:
Over 100 high-detail custom buildings
Unique 4 season texturing (Summer, Fall, Winter & Spring)
Outstanding modeling and texturing right down to the signage for Signature. I'm using this in P3D V4.3. Running ORBX, and the scenery blends nicely. Will look forward to SODE jetways, but that's not a big issue. I run a powerful machine, but this scenery is really hard on framerates especially at dusk/night. It can drop into single digit framerate at times. That is the only downside, although a big downside.
The airport was good. Could use some work to help with FPS but overall pretty good. I am impressed with the amount of detail they put in. Price could be better but the airport was definitely worth it and Im glad I have it.
Overall I am quite happy with this airport scenery. It matches very closely from what google maps has from a satellite perspective as to how the airport is laid out. When it comes down to smaller details, I like how if you fly into the airport at different times of the day, different static aircraft appear. For example, the Wiggins Airways aircraft over at the cargo ramp only appear during the day but disappear during the night time. Only real downsides that I can note were the elevation issues (which I was able to fix by buying FTX Vector and use the elevation correction tool) and the lack of moving jetways. Viewpoint has announced a future update with moving jetways so I will not penalize them too much.
4/5 stars
I have a very very powerful machine that can run the PMDG 747 v3 with any aerosoft scenery at 40+ fps. This scenery however I get OOM'd before I can even taxi with DEFAULT AIRCRAFT. This scenery is a HUGE VAS drainer!
I've flown through KMHT several times and this scenery depicts the airport quite well. Performance and detail are good in P3DV4 and the price point is more than fair for what you get in this scenery. The developers seem quite responsive and are currently working on several items for a version 1.1 update - many of which are mentioned in other reviews such as moving jetways, optional static aircraft and Orbx elevation issues. I look forward to their future projects.
Installed easily in P3Dv4 with Orbx NA LC and Vector installed, just remember to disable elevation correction in the Vector configuration tool.
I'm very impressed by this scenery especially the detailed models outside the airport (TrueValue Distribution Center etc).
Cannot wait for their next project.
Unusable at this moment. Not compatible with Orbx, generating all kinds of elevation issues. It's also presenting lighting issues during low visibility operations during the day, possibly during the night as well. I haven't tried all seasons but winter lacks the fallen snow in the pavement. The scenery has several static aircraft but does not offer an option to remove them, neither other 3D objects, i.e., it's not customizable.
Not a bad little scenery and the price is right. I like the terminal and runway design. However, I think it should have moving jetways in 2018. Also, the static aircraft they included were causing stuttering on my PC so I disabled them. I fly with UTL anyway.
Very good indeed! This rendition of KMHT and environs is quite detailed. No obvious problems running in P3Dv4.1, no shimmering, no black objects and no crashes, so so far so good. These folks seem to know what they are doing even though it doesn't exactly comport to LM's standards. Looking forward to their next project KPWM-Portland,ME - which was done unsatisfactorily by another developer.
First off, I never thought I'd see a MHT payware... ever. So that's a automatic win.
Pros: Great attention to detail to the surrounding area and immediate airport property.
Cons: No moving jet bridges, but not a huge con.
