The Ka-50 was developed in the 1990s after bitter losses in Afghanistan from ground fire. Unlike previous attack helicopters, the Ka-50 adopted a single man approach, light weight, extensive armour and considerable firepower, all of which lead to a very powerful and highly manoeuvrable battle field surviving attack helicopter. Like previous Kamov helicopters the Ka-50 uses twin contra rotating main rotors which negate the power sucking tail rotor seen on other helicopters and make the aircraft safer to re-arm and re-fuel whilst still running in a combat quick turnaround situation. The Ka-50 is fully acrobatic and able to perform loops, rolls and the highly effective 'funnel' manoeuvre, also called circle strafing. This requires the nose to be pointed down at the target and for the helicopter to fly sideways in a circular motion around the target, thus eliminating all areas of cover. Primary weapons are the Vikhr laser guided anti tank missiles and the semi fixed 30mm cannon either side of the fuselage. Being semi fixed allows greater rigidity and thus accuracy at range, the contra rotating rotors with no lag from a tail rotor system allow rapid rotation in the yaw axis both left and right equally' a flight system aligned to the pilots head sights sees that the cannon/airframe can be traversed and lined up almost as quickly as the free ranging turret on the AH-64 Apache.

The outside look of the plane is amazing, but the interior of this plane, I would say it's pretty bad. I hope the next update would improve the interior of this plane. Other than that I have no problem.

The more that I use Axis and Ohs, the more I love it. Before using Axis and Ohs, several aircraft had given me a lot of grief trying to get the throttles set up. Aerosoft's products (CRJ and Airbus), Milviz products, such as the KingAir 350i and Piaggio P.180 EVO had me banging my head against the wall because I didn't want to use the default FS profiles without using FSUIPC or something similar. Axis and Ohs have solved that problem! It works with every aircraft that I have used it on, without any problems. It is extremely easy, quick and intuitive to setup. I highly recommend this program for setting up joystick axis and buttons in MSFS, P3D(All) or FSX. For years I've used FSUIPC for axis and buttons. Now, more and more, I'm using Lorby's Axis and Ohs.

Wasn't sure what to expect as I haven't tried any of this developers Scenery before but am pleased with my purchase. Took a bit of a gamble as it doesn't say P3Dv5 compatible and I had to switch off the Orbx Africa mesh which it seems to be incompatible with but apart from that I am more than pleased.

I don't regret I bought it. For me, it's worth my money. I have got a lot of help and support from the developer that's why I give 5 stars and recommend it to others. I am a novice and this program helped me to start an adventure with flying bush trips. Bush trips in principle are not perfect, because you can not adjust the level of difficulty and parameters such as airplane, weather ( I prefer clear skies to see the views ), wind, and time of the day.use drome to look around and Is not possible to use Y-Key (SLEW) to speed up long legs and switch off must to finish the leg before starting the next one. Maybe I would like to start from leg nr.5 ?... -Frank

I have been there flying quite a few times in real life and I tell you, this is good. Every single time I line up that runway or taxi into that ramp I recall the real Sabadell again, the immersion is beyond any expectation. The team behind this must know the airport really well and have been able to put together a very enjoyable scenery. I have also noticed that the blurred textures in new tower are finally corrected after version 1.1.

I am a little bit disappointed with this scenery. Purchased for 3d v5. The surrounding of the airport is very nice but the airport itself is medium quality. Maybe I am expecting more from FSDG but this is my opinion.
