Welcome to Boston MedFlight. Our moto is, “Your Life, Our Mission”.
Boston MedFlight is a nonprofit organization that provides transport to the sickest of the sick, regardless of the patient’s ability to pay. We are called when patients have life-threatening illnesses or injuries and need our critical care expertise and rapid transport to the right facility...immediately.
As a newly hired helicopter pilot for the company, you will be assigned a regular co-pilot, and added to the company assignment roster. It is expected that you are proficient with the rotorcraft you’ll be flying and it’s navigation systems.
Your co-pilot will be responsible for handling all radio communications and provide information during your flights. But as the pilot in command, you will be responsible for “listening to, and carrying out all instructions given”, and flying the aircraft safely.
The assignments included in this package are simple transport flights with built-in audio instructions and radio calls.
Special Note:
The custom helipads in these missions were positioned with Photogrammetry turned ON. If you fly the missions with this feature turned off, the helipads will not be in the correct position, or may not be visible at all. Be sure to turn this feature ON to avoid this situation.
Included:
The package includes ten missions, a README.pdf file that provides a summary of the missions, and special notes regarding this package.
