Glacier Park International Airport (IATA: FCA, ICAO: KGPI, FAA LID: GPI) is in Flathead County, Montana, six miles northeast of Kalispell The airport is owned and operated by the Flathead Municipal Airport Authority, a public agency created by the county in 1974.

VREF Simulations developed an excellent product. I flew out of this airport last year (real-world) and was surprised that this rendition was modeled so accurately to the real thing. There were a lot of details that were included that made it fun to see while in the simulator. The only improvement I can note is it would be nice to see a little higher quality textures on some of the buildings, runways, and taxiways. Overall, I am delighted with this product. Hopefully, someone will take on designing/modeling the new Glacier Park International Airport terminal after they complete their major passenger terminal renovation/expansion project!

Would give 4 stars if developer had created this with ability to turn off static AI. That to me is a necessity at this point in late 2022.

The airport is well done overall, I especially like the very life-like ground texturing for the apron and taxiway areas. The airport is also nicely embedded into it's surroundings with no notable flat buildings or vegetation visible. I do however find that the night lighting is a bit over the top, very much blinding in most areas. And most notably, the ATC tower is covered in full-blown flood lighting inside and out, which obviously wouldn't work in a real ATC tower. Also the (default) ground support equipment around the terminal parking stands is placed rather tight, making one pushback truck and baggage carts placed on top of each other.

This is a reasonably well done airport, but there is nothing about it that would warrant five stars. The textures are not high resolution, there is no interior modelling, nor is the airport a completely accurate rendition (at a minimum, the parking spot numbering at the terminal doesn't match the Jeppesen chart). There are a couple of nice animations of people street side, though the lower resolution texturing doesn't hold up very well at the terminal entrance. Airport side, the tinted terminal window panes reflect nicely, so even though you can't see in, the effect is reasonable. The ramp area is well done, with lots of detritus making the airport feel alive. Parking lots are sufficiently full, but at times the cars themselves are placed a bit haphazardly. The Country Inn is nicely modelled. There are also some jets on the Glacier Jet Center ramp (including a private 757) and there a few light planes parked in front of hangars. Overall, this is a mid-tier airport from a quality perspective. Compared to the level of quality airports that Fsdreamteam is producing at this price point, it is hard to argue that this airport is worth the money. On the other hand, this airport certainly comes out on top when compared to the stuff FSXScenery is producing. All of that said, Kalispell may not be high on very many people's lists of "need to have" airports, so the pricing probably assumes a lower volume of sales. In any case, while this airport is not great, it is good and Kalispell is a beautiful area to fly into. For me it was worth paying a small premium to be able to replace the default airport with something that makes me want to keep flying to that part of Montana.

Beautiful airport! I fly into Kalispell frequently and this is spot on to the real airport. High quality and very beautiful! I decided to purchase this airport in MSFS after not getting enough satisfaction from default scenery. Denver to Kalispell in the United A320 a nice flight for anyone looking for a route. When Aerosoft releases the CRJ, I will fly from MSP to DEN with Delta.

Great product! This scenery is same quality level as some of the bigger developers. I'm happy and overall, happy with my purchase! I recommend this scenery to anyone out there who likes to fly around the mountains!

A beautiful and my favorite airport in Montana. I hope there will be updates soon in near future with more detailed terminal interiors. Also some more static aircrafts, other aircraft activities and some more airport surroundings added to this scenery would be great! Just a question is whether this scenery will also be added to MarketPlace?
