Shanghai Pudong International Airport (IATA PVG, ICAO ZSPD) is one of the two international airports in Shanghai and a major aviation hub of East Asia.
Pudong Airport mainly serves international flights, while the city's other major airport Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport mainly serves domestic and regional flights in East Asia.
Located about 30 kilometers (19 mi) east of the city center, Pudong Airport occupies a 40-square-kilometre (10,000-acre) site adjacent to the coastline in eastern Pudong.
The airport is operated by Shanghai Airport Authority (Chinese 上海机场集团公司, SSE 600009).

The airport is the main hub for China Eastern Airlines and Shanghai Airlines, and a major international hub for Air China, as well as secondary hub for China Southern Airlines.
It is also the hub for privately owned Juneyao Airlines and Spring Airlines, and an Asia-Pacific cargo hub for FedEx, UPS and DHL. The DHL hub, opened in July 2012, is reportedly the largest express hub in Asia.

Pudong Airport has two main passenger terminals, flanked on both sides by four operational parallel runways.
A third passenger terminal has been planned since 2015, in addition to a satellite terminal and two additional runways, which will raise its annual capacity from 60 million passengers to 80 million,
along with the ability to handle six million tons of freight.

Pudong Airport is a fast-growing hub for both passenger and cargo traffic. With 3,703,431 metric tons handled in 2017, the airport is the world's third-busiest airport by cargo traffic.
Pudong Airport also served a total of 74,006,331 passengers in 2018, making it the third-busiest airport in China after Beijing Capital and Hong Kong Airport, fifth-busiest in Asia, and the eighth-busiest in the world.
It is also the busiest international gateway of mainland China, with 35.25 million international passengers. By the end of 2016, Pudong Airport hosted 104 airlines serving more than 210 destinations.

Shanghai Pudong is the busiest international hub in China, and about half of its total passenger traffic is international.
Pudong Airport is connected to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport by Shanghai Metro Line 2 and the Shanghai Maglev Train via Pudong International Airport Station.
There are also airport buses connecting it with the rest of the city.

This is exceptional work by WF Scenery Studio. Frame rates are extremely good even with lots of AIG aircraft around the airport. The quality of the terminals and other buildings is very good. Having bought many airports from different developers this is right up there with the best. I look forward to more from them for P3D. Not all of us have moved to MSFS.

The WFSS is one of the best studios,thhere are delicate models and textures that are closed related to the reality in the scenries.addtionally,the details of the airport are more than ample.From the very begining to now,I can see all the efforts you have paid and the great progress on your sceneries you have made.Personally,I think that the hues of WFSS sceneries are not very closed to the reality,perhaps it worth adjusting a bit.I look forward to seeing more excellent sceneries soon.

Truly, very impressive. Both in the level of detail and in performance. I had purchased WF's ZBAA and found it to be adequate, but this is on another level. Easily on par with flytampa and flightbeam.

Amazing scenery in an area of the world that really has not all that many sceneries at the moment. Well worth a fligth. Looks superb even at night and also performs amazingly, even with quite a lot of AIG traffic.

I echo all of the others here raving about this rendition of ZSPD. It is very very good! I have their Hong Kong airport too and although the price is quite steep it it worthy of the price tag. Great detail, awesome texturing and baking, and its just a generally very well made product. This is on par with our premier devs like Flytampa, Flightbeam and Simwings. There is an improved AFCAD on AIG for AI traffic users so airlines park better to terminals theyre meant to be at. I look forward to ORBX OpenLC Asia to further enhance the area around the airport. Go for it! You wont be dissapointed.

Easily the best Asian scenery made for P3D! Detailed modeling both interior and exterior with high frame rates. The airport layout is up-to-date and accurate, with the AVIC runway also available. Lots of immersion factors in the airport surroundings such as maglev trains, trees, and highways etc. This is FlightBeam level of excellence!

With this scenery, WF Scenery Studio climbs the ladder of the top P3D developers in my book. They should keep making products like this in P3D, they continent of Asia has so much to offer and WFSS is our best hope. Thank you for this amazing international hub in China.
