    Legacy Background

    Embraer's Legacy is the advanced version of the company's venerable ERJ-135. The changes include the addition of winglets (for added lift and drag reduction) and fuselage strakes, underbelly and cargo compartment tanks, higher-rated turbofan engines, new fuel system, higher maximum Mach operation (MMO), an entirely new main cabin and advanced avionics suite (IRS, HUD,...). With a 3,100 Nm range, the Legacy is capable of New York to London, Singapore to Tokyo or London to Riyadh nonstop. Embraer launched the Legacy program at the Farnborough Air Show in the UK in July 2000 and its maiden flight took place less than one year later in April 2001.

    This product has gotten worse over the years. Wilco is TERRIBLE about support. Meaning you get none. I was shocked that I was told that they know that the product is broken, but will not fix it. It has tons of glitches and does not work in DX10 at all. They do not tell you this. Which is just wrong. I will never buy anything Wilco again. Totally garbage sold by crooks in my opinion. You have been warned.

    Okay so it is on sale, but be aware this is an FS9 aircraft ported to FSX. The model has a few problems. one is the VC window textures are dark. avsim has a vcfix file that works thanks to a good person. however the VC panel lighting is not functional so the gauges are dark at night so you don't fly from the vc at night. also there is no support as Feelthere has locked the forum. everything else is very good.
