If any aeroplane ever deserved to be called “classic”, then the venerable and ubiquitous Cessna 172 in all of its many variations surely deserves that title. It is a time-tested benchmark of aircraft efficiency, utility and excellence; it is one of the most recognizable aeroplanes (although sometimes mistaken for its larger and more powerful brother, the Cessna 182/Skylane and vice versa); its value has been and continues to be well-established and constant.   •  Overheating can cause scoring of cylinder head walls which could ultimately lead to failure if warnings are ignored and overly abused
  •  Engine, airframe, cockpit panel and individual gauges tremble from the combustion engine.
  •  Authentic drag from the airframe and flaps
  •  System failures, including flaps that can independently jam or break based on the actual forces put upon them. If you deploy your flaps at too high a speed, you could find yourself in a very dangerous situation.
  •  Authentic battery. The battery capacity is based on temperature. The major draw comes from engine starting.
  •  Oil pressure system is affected by oil viscosity (oil thickness). Oil viscosity is affected by oil temperature. Now when you start the engine, you need to be careful to give the engine time to warm

Been a long time supporter of Tropicalsim sceneries. I go back to fs2004 and I even bought their full pack of Caribbean airports. Even thought their sceneries have improved a great deal, they still fall way short of the Elite developers. TIST is a good example of how they always fall short of my expectations. On this latest version they did not model the entire island and could not think to add lights to their light poles. Just laziness or a lack of care for their work. I echo the same thoughts for all the sceneries that I own and I have almost all of them.

Subtle improvements to the VC, and some other good features. It won't transform the VC of the SSG 747 into something of the quality of the Flight Factor A320 or IXEG 737 but for the lost cost I paid for it (£5), worth the money for a small improvement.

It's great to have such a large airport from Central America and FSimStudios have modeled it as it will be when completed. I am happy with the purchase and I'll make good use of the airport, but it gets a 3 because it's still a bit rough on the textures, the AFCAD file has no airlines assigned to parking gates (picky I know, but it's nice to be assigned a realistic gate) and the night lighting is too dim. Having said that, it's good to see FSimStudios tackle a bigger airport like this.

I think this is an incredibly underappreciate-
d airport. Though is services mostly regional aircraft, I will go on a limb and say it is one of the most detailed payware airports on the market. If you have the benefit of a program like Chaseplane, get out of the cockpit and explore the area. You will be amazed by the staggering detail that went into the visuals at this airport. I think I almost lost it when I saw cars driving around the rooftop level of the parking garage looking for parking. When you observe the Nuremberg sign from the outside of the airport you feel like you are a part of a living breathing world. This will be reinforced when you observe shuttle busses pulling into a parking space to pick up and drop off passengers. Though they don’t actual show passengers getting off the shuttle, you feel something like that could be coming in the future. (Hint! Hint!) That being said, this is an absolutely visually stunning airport. I am sure it won’t disappoint.

This scenery is the missing link if you are bored with the repetitive sameness of the default scenery and other ground texture products that have been around for years. This scenery is as real as it gets. Finally we have a product that looks from the flight deck exactly like the real thing. It enhances the realism of the flight sim experience greatly. Note that this is not a low altitude VFR product. It is more suited to higher altitude flying with airliners or military aircraft.To really see the benefit you do need to be above 5000 feet or so. The higher you are, the better it gets. Once you attain cruising altitude, I cannot think of another product that rivals this software. I thoroughly recommend this software to you.

Great utility for improving ATC. It took me 10 minutes to figure out how the to build "phrases", by combining parts of existing ones, but once it clicked, it's easy and it's great to have your own airline featured in the ATC chatter. Lars supports the program very well and it's has been well thought out.
