OVERVIEW:
This flying machine may rightly be called a “Goldilocks” aeroplane. It is not too big and not too small, not too complex and not too simple, etc. The Piper Cherokee 180 is, as the little flaxen-haired girl so famously declared, “Just right!”
The entire PA-28 Cherokee line from the humble two- seat 150 h.p. PA-28-140 to the swift, retractable undercarriage PA-28R-200 Arrow, to the powerful, heavy load-carrying 235 h.p. PA-28-235 Dakota, is respected as being one of the most popular, commercially successful series of aircraft containing within some of the most pilot-friendly aeroplanes ever built. Each member of the Cherokee family fills its particular niche at least as well as, and often better than other aircraft of similar type. However, of all of the many Cherokees the Cherokee 180, sitting as it does right in the middle of the pack has proven itself to be most popular and justifiably so. Introduced to the public in 1961, the first Cherokee, the 150 hp PA-28-150 was immediately well-received setting the pace for its later siblings who went on to provide pilots of all levels of experience with honest, dependable and well-performing aircraft which are fun and satisfying to fly, reliable, safe and economical to own and operate. However, getting to this place took some time and some very astute business and aeronautical skills and sense.

Authentic fuel delivery includes priming and proper mixture behavior. Mixture can be tuned by the book using the EGT or by ear. It’s your choice.
A2A specialized materials with authentic metals, plastics, and rubber
Oil pressure system is affected by oil viscosity (oil thickness). Oil viscosity is affected by oil temperature. Now when you start the engine, you need to be careful to give the engine time to warm
Eight commercial aviation sponsors have supported the project including Phillips 66 Aviation, Champion Aerospace, and Knots2u speed modifications.
Having bought nearly all A2A products I knew what to expect. Greatness. That’s what you get here just like all of their other planes.
This Cherokee is the best you can buy. A fully simulated in the highest detail plane.
As with all AccuSim planes you get something nobody else can deliver. A fully believable and highly detailed simulation that can make you forget it’s a sim.
There’s little to say other than yes it’s totally worth the money even today. Everything looks and feels right.
You can do no better than Accusim. Outstanding!
Installs and runs perfectly in FSX Steam, Win10.
WOW!
I put off getting this aircraft as I kept honestly thinking "what could they have done better than the spitfire or b17"
Let me tell you ! This aircraft is an amazing thing to behold! It feels as if it is actually a real aircraft. I can't exactly put in to words how this makes me feel flying it other than I have a big smile everyone I do.
I enjoy the scenery more rather than climbing up to 38000 ft in an airliner.
Dealing with the running of the aircraft is unlike any other aircraft I have flown on a simulator.
Go and buy this it is excellent!
A2A ist hier wieder ein Meisterstück gelungen. Vorraussetzung für ein tolles
Fluggefühl (as real as it gets) sind jedoch sinnige Steuergeräte: Piper fliegt
Kritik einfach mal heraus.
Mehr Fakten? Leichte Installation, sehr gutes Handbuch, komplexe Simulation der
Systeme, sehr gute Framerates, klasse Sound.
A beautiful little PA28 for your GA collection. The interior texturing in the VC is really impressive. The sound effects around the aircraft are just like the 172, really immersive and fantastic. But just like the 172, the engine sounds themselves are a little flat, a little unexceptional. Doesn't detract from a brilliant little plane. It's twitchy on the pitch but I'm assuming this is a realistic character of the real aircraft. If you like GA it's a no brainer. I would like to see A2A do a more complex and / or faster non-military GA aircraft next though.
Amazing work by A2A Simulations. If you own the A2A C172 and like it, you are going to love this one. Accu-sim brings again the debt of simulation in FSX a step up. But if you think because you master the A2A C172 you are going to be an ace in this one, you are sadly mistaken. A2A is not like other developers of similar planes which their products behave like they are the same, this planes does not fly like the C172 at all; is a completely different experience. Some of the flying characteristic and system of the plane took me for a loop but a friend of mine who is a real airline pilot and flew this plane in real life told me, that is exactly how the plane should behave. This is FSX realism at its best and you will not be disappointed by getting it.
My only complaint is that some of the liveries the package includes are not to my liking. I know this is an old plane but does not mean the liveries should look old school too, but that is my personal opinion. The good news is that a bunch of re-painters are already working on new liveries for this beautiful bird and they are looking great.
A2A has again not just released an Aircraft model. This is also a developement of the simulation. Most other companies only focus on how the aircraft looks(the graphics). A2A's models include much more than that it also looks good, they have simulated the engine and the electric system and so much more.
If you are interested in simulation of how it is to fly, then you should add this Aircraft to Your hangar.
I have just bought the Cherokee and just made one flight so I can not review it fully yet, but this is for sure going to be another of my favorite. Sinse I bought my first model of A2A's Accusim Aircrafts so have I tried others but not find any other even close.
