The name “Suvarnabhumi” means “The golden land” was given by the King Bhumiphol (King Rama IX) to the new airport that replaces Don Maung Airport. This is the gateway to Thailand. The airport project was first established in 1973. Finally after years of waiting, it was officially open in 29th September 2006. Murphy/Jahn Architects designed this airport with glass walls, metal frames and canvas. The airport has 2 parallel runways. It has a total of 120 parking bays (51 with contact gates and 69 remote gates).
The airport has set up the satellite terminal to increase the capacity of the passenger. The project started in 2006. There are 4 stories with the area of 216,000 square meters, 28 contact bays 8 of which can accommodate A380. Due to Covid19 epidemic, the opening of project has been delayed even the construction was completed in 2021.
Features:
This version is for only P3Dv4.5 and V5 only. It is not compatible with FSX.
The material has been changed to PBR material for better render.
Main terminal and concourses were made in detail including 3d metal frames. The glass of the concourse is coated with solar protective film, so it is difficult to see inside. There is no interior structure in this version. Unnecessary details were discarded to make frame rate at its best. Yet, the outside details that you can see from the aircraft you flying are magnificent.
Jetways were made in detail. They are all animated by SODE. You need to download SODE software from 12bPilot.com and it is free.
Dynamic light was implemented to all the light poles in the airport.
Real 3D ALSF-2 landing light system.
Runway guard lights to all runway holding points.
Real 3d cars in the parking lot. The models are custom made and available in Thailand.
Surrounding area including Thanacity Golf Course, King Mongkut Institute of Technology, Logistic Center, Airport link station and Burapha Vitae Expressway.
The satellite terminal is not open for use yet. So it is not accessible for the public, the photos are lacking. Texture is just guessing. After the terminal is opened, photos will be available. So the texture and model may be updated later.

I was really disappointed. My frames drop too low. With scenery from Flightbeam KSFO-KIAD my taframes are up to 40 with my settings on max. And with a scenery worth 12.40 euros from your company, my frames are unimaginably tragic. My opinion is that you should not buy it.
In general a nice work for such a complex airport! However several issues are still present here, even after this update. Framerates are still not exactly impressive - Probably because of reusing old outdated FSX textures...and severe scenery crash still occurs, as mentioned in other reviews here. Leaving out photoreal *.bgl files, as suggested by one of the reviewers here won't help out the this crash issue whatsoever for me - indeed frustrating, after spending more than an hour setting up flightplan and the aircraft itself, etc. Then entering the taxiway on the way for the runway and suddenly CRASH to the scenery, which means starting all over again! Several interaction with the friendly and responsive A_A Sceneries support in this regard, unfortunately hasn't solved anything. What finally did help for me however, was simply to turn OFF the P3D stock airport *.bgl file, which obviously seems to be in conflict with the dews work - don't remember anymore the exact name of the stock P3D airport file, which I found via the good old Airport Design Editor app.
The scenery seems okay, for the price you can't really complain, but doesn't seem to be much of an update compared to their V1 for FSX. From a visual perspective, most of the airport and the modelling seems to have gaps here and there, especially when it comes to the terminal. The taxiways are the same as V1, and don't seem to have been redone. If you're okay with it, then i'd recommend it as it's the only option, but there really needs to be a quality update at least such as a completely redone ground poly before I can completely recommend this.
The new Satelite Terminal and it's new taxiways are a nice addition, but when you taxi out and in, it's obvious that it's been slapped down and the original taxiways and edge lights haven't been modified.
An amazing scenery for sure! I love the terminals and the texture quality is fantastic. It could not have been any better. Performence is also amazing! Great product for the price! Highly recommended!
Glad it's working fine for some. In v5.2 the photoreal scenery causes a crash. The fix is to turn it off (change the extension) or move out 12 .bgl files starting with PhotoReal. The dev was very responsive and upfront about the error, so full credit for that. However, it's hard to give five stars to a product that crashes in the latest major release of P3D when it's specifically sold for it. So, if you have v5, be prepared to implement the fix--it's not hard--and then the scenery is decent enough.
Once again A_A has released a really great scenery. The PBR looks really nice and the FPS is high while VRAM stays quite low. I'm very happy with this scenery and the price is very good. I highly recommend it!
