Mehrabad International Airport (IATA: THR, ICAO: OIII) is an airport in Tehran, the capital city of Iran. Prior to the construction of the Imam Khomeini International Airport in 2007, Mehrabad was Tehran's primary airport in both international and domestic traffic, but now serves only domestic flights. Despite this, it remains the busiest airport in the country. The airport is also used by the Government of Iran.

Installation runs via Aerosoft One, this requires an internet connection and an Aerosoft user account!

Very detailed, worth the money, I hope the developer will make the MSFS 2024 version.

While the airport has a great level of detail and deserve at least 3 stars, I've put only one for the reason below: After some back and forth with Aerosoft about the performance issue when panning camera, although they (Aerosoft) confirmed the issue exists, after lots of follow ups they said the developer believes there is nothing wrong with it!! Aerosoft professionally offered a return so a shout out to them to keep their costumers happy! But a one star rating goes to the developer whom not only didn't try to fix the issue, but also said there is nothing wrong with it. Do not recommend the product until it is fixed.

The details of the scenery is insane! It is well designed with proper taxiway mark, gates, thresholds, etc however it has huge impact on performance with unbearable stutters. I would not recommend to purchase it until the developers come up with the patch fix.

Thank you!!!! Finally, we have a highly detailed OIII, thank you for fixing up Tehran a little bit as well! very pleased with this purchase overall. ILS for 29L seems to be little off? Maybe that has to do with Navigraph since I'm using their NAV data but anyway, thank you so much again!

It's a great product and very detail oriented. It's definitely by far the best rendering of Mehrabad Aiport in any simulation. They could have done a better job with the ground crew (msfs default) simulation. Overall though, it is very accurate and great product. It's at least a 4.5 star. Hope the team does other Iranian airports.

Both Homasim's Imam Khomeini(OIIE), as well as Ahwaz (OIAW) sceneries, are excellent value for the money: lovely visuals, a fair deal of detail, and above all, great performance. While the new Mehrabad (OIII) delivers on the first two, the performance is, unfortunately, somewhat substandard. Let me clarify. As the airport is situated in downtown Tehran, surrounded by a heavily built-up area - plus there are several custom models placed in the vicinity -, there are annoying stutters while panning the camera. Although there is no noticeable FPS drop, these stutters do ruin the overall experience. Hopefully, the developer(s) will further optimize the surroundings (perhaps their own 3D models), which will easily win another star for this otherwise fine work. I do recommend the product, which, combined with other Homasim airports, makes it possible for us to discover a part of the virtual world less frequented before. I am hoping Shiraz (OISS) will follow shortly.
